-wash your gua sha
-use a facial oil

👉🏼tips to maximize results & avoid breakouts:
-use a slippery facial oil so you’re not tugging on your skin! serums and water don’t have the same consistency. this @sacheubeauty one is the best I’ve ever used. it’s linked on my amazon storefront in my bio!
-wash your gua sha EVERY TIME! I’ve gotten major breakouts along my jawline (which are now scars & dark marks as you can see) just because I was lazy and didn’t want to wash it all the time. Literally just use soap and water it takes 15 seconds!
-wash your face after!!! I made the mistake of thinking leaving the oil on afterwards would provide extra moisture but I was wrong!!! wash your face right after to avoid breakouts, I like to do it right before I get in the shower bc I’ll be washing my face anyway!
-make sure you’re bringing your gua sha behind your ear and all the way down your neck for full drainage!

things I do before every photoshoot👇🏼
days/night before:
-get at least 8 hours of sleep
-super moisturizing face mask
-self tanner
-eyebrows
-nails & toes/feet
-shave everything & moisturize
the day of:
-drink a giant cup of water first thing
-don’t eat any solids before the shoot (green juice)! Unless it’s later in the day bc I refuse to actually starve myself
-normal/basic skincare routine
-ICE ROLLER🫶🏼
-wear loose clothing (easy to take off after makeup & and won’t leave marks on the skin)
-pack basic pieces & statement pieces based on the mood board
-cover the hair with a hat or hood
-pump up / confidence music on the way
-advise the HMUA on what looks best on you normally
-follow direction and go with the flow! stay relaxed
