Sometimes, it’s much harder to close a door than it is to open a new one, even when they are so BEAUTIFUL and you think they’re perfect!
Why? Because as they say… “better the devil you know.” But is it really?
I’d been wanting to close a particular door for a long time. But when I paused, fear crept in even deeper. The longer I stayed in limbo, the more disconnected I felt from myself. But the moment I began to come back to me, more present, more clear, I knew it was time.
Yes, the fear lingered… right up until I heard the latch click.
But I haven’t looked back.
Now I’m sitting at Melbourne Airport, Bali bound, heart full of excitement to reunite with the building team for my Uma La Lang Villas and finally bring these beauties to life. I can almost feel the warm air on my skin, hear the hum of my scooter, and taste the morning coffee shared with dear friends.
It’s back to outdoor living, breakfast, lunch, and dinner under the sky. Massages. Sunset walks. Sacred offerings. And yes, work too. But with joy woven into every hour.
If you’ve been thinking of closing a door, take that as your invitation.
Start small. Research. Connect. Visualise.
We’re so blessed to have access to so much guidance and support.
There are still a few more doors I need to close… and a few exciting ones waiting to open.
What about you?
Is there a door you’re ready to close or one you’re aching to open?
