Fayette County, W.Va. — A video sharing a view of the New River Gorge from the New River Gorge Bridge was taken today at 8:25 am by Jordan Elwell.
Reports of a fire first came in at 3 pm yesterday. Local news stations say it originated on private land.
They also state that roughly 50 acres have been impacted by the fire so far and that multiple fire crews are on the scene.

And vendors were set up, including one that registered people to vote in person before the October 18th deadline.

There is an overturned car on the South Side Bridge in Charleston, WV.
I did not see what happened and am not aware of the conditions of this driver.
If West Virginia Gov. Jim Justice approves HB 302, abortions will be banned unless:
- An embryo or fetus is nonviable
- There’s an ectopic pregnancy
- A medical emergency exists
- It’s done within eight weeks of a pregnancy caused by sexual assault or incest for an adult [14 weeks for an minor]
Only professionals who hold a medical license at an approved location can perform an abortion, if the above criteria is met.

Outside of the WV Governor’s Mansion
The House and Senate are adjourned until further notice. That means abortions are still legal to the same extent as before, for now.
Protestors who remained stated they will return to the Capitol until an agreement has been made.
