“The EP was written when I was working on my live show, the focus of which is an Elektroin Analog Rytm drum machine, an Octatrack and a Xone 96 Dj mixer. I was listening to loads of Autechre and Gescom and trying to encapsulate some of the weird sound design and drum programming that was taking me on a journey in their music. These tracks were written and recorded on my live rig, recorded as jams, then cut up and edited in Ableton. The primary sound source being the analogue drum machine, in an effort to see how far I could push it.”
