DO BOTH RAPPERS REALLY HAVE SOME THINGS IN COMMON?
Jovi Ndukong Godlove Nfor (born 24 October 1983), known by his stage name Jovi, is a Cameroonian rapper, songwriter, sound engineer, entrepreneur, and record producer (under his producer pseudonym Le Monstre).Jovi graduated from the University of Yaoundé II (Soa), with a BA Hons in Economics and Business Management.Jovi's debut album H.I.V (Humanity is Vanishing) was described by Kangsen Feka Wakai in Bakwa magazine as “the long awaited arrival of a self-assured emcee very conscious of his abilities, the vacuum in the genre, his audience’s expectations, and the right dose of hustle to assert his place.”
Under his pseudonym Le Monstre, Jovi produces his records and is renowned for his compelling fusion of traditional hip hop and classic Cameroon/African sounds and instruments with new contemporary sounds. Jovi's lyrics are in English, French, and the hybrid languages Pidgin and francanglais (a fusion of French, English and Pidgin-English lingo). Jovi also produces music for artists in New Bell Music as well as for international artists. Jovi co-wrote and co-produced Akon's song "Shine the Light," which Akon released as a video on January 26, 2016.
MI Abaga Jude Abaga (born 4 October 1981), better known as M.I Abaga, is a Nigerian hip hop recording artist and record producer.[2] He was CEO of Chocolate City from June 2015 to 2019.[3] He won Best Hip Hop and Best New Act at the 2009 MTV Africa Music Awards,[4] and was nominated in the Best International Act category at the BET Awards 2010. He rose to prominence in 2006 when his song "Crowd Mentality" became popular in Jos, plateau state, Nigeria. His critically acclaimed debut studio album Talk About It was released on 11 December 2008. The LP was succeeded by MI 2: The Movie (2010). Four years after that, he released The Chairman as his third studio album. Abaga released the playlist Rendezvous in February 2018. In August of that year, he released his fourth studio album A Study On Self Worth: Yxng Dxnzl. On 6 March 2020, Abaga announced his exit from Chocolate City Music and launch of his record label Incredible Music.

Their nicknames or artistic names carry weight with Jovi labelled as Le Monstre in French which means [The Monster] or Vizu which means visionary MI Abaga which the MI stands for Mr. Incredible and his real name Jude with Biblical reference meaning "praised"
Jovi's real name Godlove which already signifies God loves, all are geared towards one thing and that's PRAISE. Isn't logical that both rappers are always praised in their various countries?

We won't talk much about their achievements because they are really not bothered about awards and honors, they are all about building bridges and mountain mic stands for a succeeding generations to be inspired. Their achievement is geared towards cultural impact reasons why they will rarely have millions of YouTube views on their projects but their music and essesnce is revered regardless in every corner of their countries. However MI Abaga has bagged several awards than Jovi in and out of his country.

MI Abaga has 6 Albums and 2 EPs probably making him the rapper with the highest projects in Nigeria coupled with the fact his a label owner of Incredible Music, Jovi has about 4 studio albums and will be dropping his fifth soon with about 9 EPs too. And both rappers have topped Apple Playlist with their rap pieces. They probably have the highest number of rap songs than any rapper in their various countries.

Both rappers aren't verified on Facebook but are verified on Instagram and Twitter. Both rappers are not married but Jovi has a daughter and MI no kids as he had openly declared years back he won't be having children of his own.
