The 12th Hour Welcome to "The 12th Hour" on 91.7 WLFR Pomona (Stockton Radio). The main goal is broadening the musical horizons of its listeners.

Tune in Tuesdays from 8 to 10 AM on air or online to hear music ranging from symphonic metal to dark cabaret to electronic and much more. "The 12th Hour" is a weekly radio show on 91.7 WLFR, the radio station for The Richard Stockton College of NJ. This is not done as much by playing unknown artists, but rather by playing unknown genres (at least less popular ones in the area). These genres range

from symphonic metal, dark cabaret, modern rockabilly, and artists that really can't fit into just one genre. Music from local bands is also played, and I'm always looking for local acts to showcase. If you're tired of listening to the same old music on every station, tune into "The 12th Hour" for an afternoon of musical diversity. We now have a live, video stream at http://www.livestream.com/917WLFRPomona

South Jersey Metal Scene, What’s Up?

hey all, remember this page? Well, it will be back in a drastically different format come fall semester, but until then here's an article I wrote concerning South Jersey's music scene.

Do people in South Jersey like metal? I’d almost argue no, and that is part of the problem. What is the problem? Roughly, the problem is the lack of support for these bands. Yes, when...

Who thinks it would be cool if The 12th Hour turned into a sort of weekly web series video type show?

07/02/2012

Tomorrow we'll likely be discussing a recap of the Super Bowl and the ads, upcoming video games of 2012, and our featured artist looks to be Birdeatsbaby, be sure to tune in to 91.7 from 8-10 AM or stream at wlfr.fm

with just hours to go until the rematch between the Patriots and Giants, who do you think will pull out the victory?
I'm going with the Giants over the Patriots by at least 3 points.

Sonata Arctica - The Wind Beneath my Wings

so after some investigation it seems like the live stream may be working again, so hopefully next week that'll be available to everyone. As for next week, all that's planned is to have this song played since it's a rather awesome cover

trying to figure out what the show should be about this Tuesday, what do you all think it should be on?

24/01/2012

had a great first show of the semester. Discussed the ins and outs of last year's top video games, played some Ke$ha, Lady Gaga, and of course Dev. Also, co-host Dom has a rather awesome page at Using Dark Knight movie quotes for all situations.

so after some intense planning, shows throughout the semester will cover topics such as movies, video games, zombies, Doctor Who, and Batman. Oh yes, it will be rather geeky, which also translates as rather awesome!

18/01/2012

Just an update, the show should be back on air in a week or two with possibly a new time. More news on this to come in the near future. Thank you all for the support last semester in making it the most streamed show on the station, let's keep it up this semester now that we're streaming online and broadcasting over the air!

07/12/2011

Hey all, looks like there may not be a show this Thursday due to finals and what not. However, the interview with Own Your Enemy will be up this week.

05/12/2011

Now that there's an empty slate for the final show of the semester, what does everyone think the show should focus on this Thursday as a worthy send off?

02/12/2011

I'd just like to thank Own Your Enemy and Shattered Sanctity for a great show yesterday. With one show left for the semester, things are in the works to make it a fitting send off for the winter break.

Thanks to all the awesome people who tuned in yesterday, The 12th Hour has reached the highest listener base out of any of the shows on the station since the transmitter tower has been down!

tomorrow we'll be discussing our week 1 thoughts of Skyrim. It's sure to be a good show, and we may possibly be starting at 12 rather than 12:30 (not completely sure, but it is a posibility).
