In Episode 8, I loved sitting down with Elizabeth Paras, creator and director of THRIVE! Youth Camps. She has an elementary and special education degree, and her specialty is presenting to elementary schools and youth organizations to promote self-awareness and self-confidence. She is passionate about her work to help individuals awaken their greatness and gain the skills, knowledge, and self-mastery so they too can "Awake, Arise, and Thrive in Life." In this first of a two-part episode, she shares techniques of dealing with heavy emotions that can attend a head injury. This is valuable for even individuals who haven't suffered a concussion!
