Realistically babes, what’s the budget 🎁💵🤦🏻‍♀️

10/11/2025

It took me years to figure this out... 😮‍💨

But once I did, paying off my debt became so much easier than ever!

Reaching any goal comes down to consistency and discipline... here’s how l applied that to my budgeting routine to help me pay off $20k in credit card debt..

Beginning every month I completed the Monthly Breakdown and Bill Creator calendar in my That Budget Babe Budget Planner.

That’s my foundation! 📝

Then I use those to fill out my 2 Paycheck Spending Plans...

Yes these are completed at the beginning of the month...

I track my variable spending (groceries, gas, eating out, etc) throughout the entire month.

This is how I stick to my spending limits...

Every day I check in on my accounts and compare what’s coming in and out to what my Spending Plans say...

At the end of every pay period, I review my Spending Plans to confirm what actually happened vs what I anticipated to happen.

I take that info, adjust for the next month and, do it all over again!

My budget planner is the key to all of this!

It’s how I stay organized and consistent and my budgeting routine is how I stay disciplined!

You can get my budget planner from my shop right here on instagram 🤩

What do you spend too much money on?

I used to go so over board on groceries that l’d have to throw stuff away because it went bad 🤦🏻‍♀️

Are we doing Christmas differently this year ladies?

05/11/2025

Let’s get straight to is shall we?

We can all agree that money is one of the top 3 reasons couples argue, right?

But let’s also agree that we wish it wasn’t that
way.
We want our relationships to run smoothly (no butting heads) and money to be abundant or at least used productively...
That’s where I was in my relationship and it’s why I decided to face it head on...
First on my own, then with my husband...
Here’s how I did it!
1: I accepted that we were both sometimes right and sometimes wrong
2: 1 realized that trauma with money was the foundation of the script I was regurgitating anytime I talked about, spent and even earned money.

3: I extended that realization to my husband, realizing that he too (just like we all do) has a money story created my his own upbringing...
4: I developed healthy money management • habits, like over coming over spending by healing, prioritizing budgeting with money meetings, automating saving with transters and focusing on paying off my debt slowly (at first) but surely.

5: By doing this, he saw something change in me and it began to change him. I started including him in our money meetings, talking to him about what i was learning, giving him space to apply it in his own time. We began to see ourselves as a team. Us against the world rather then him vs me!

Let me know in the commments if you want more detailed info on this and l’ll make more videos!

Hope it helps!
