𝗗𝗮𝗶𝗹𝘆 𝗗𝗲𝘃𝗼: Sometimes we live on the course of our sins and of guilt. We tread on treacherous waters and tend to be taken away by mere blow of the wind. But, let us remember that when we started our walk with Jesus, we’ve been saved by His grace.

It’s easy to forget these things because we’ve been trapped inside our secret sins. We are afraid to say it out loud because we’re ashamed of it. But, when we go on bended knees before our King and confess them all, we will be forgiven. Let us not be controlled by the lust of our flesh; let us live in grace. 𝗧𝘂𝗲𝘀𝗱𝗮𝘆, 𝗔𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗹 𝟮𝟬
𝗗𝗮𝗶𝗹𝘆 𝗩𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗲: “And he said to them, “Do not be alarmed. You seek Jesus of Nazareth, who was crucified. He has risen; he is not here. See the place where they laid him.” Mark 16:6 ESV

𝗗𝗮𝗶𝗹𝘆 𝗗𝗲𝘃𝗼: Have you ever watched a movie about Jesus' crucifixion? Do you remember how He suffered every pain, how He endured every accusation, and how He died on the cross?

For sure, there are times when you feel that Jesus is not working in your life. He seems quiet, not able to hear and see you, not able to help you; He seems forever dead. But the Word of the Lord reminds us not to be alarmed, not to worry, and not to doubt. For He has risen, Jesus is alive, and God is not dead.

Jesus paid for all our sins the moment He obeyed the Father and got crucified. Maybe for you, this is a heartbreaking thought to know that He died for us. But His greatness and glory don’t stop on the cross. He suffered, He experienced death, but He rose again. He continued to show His power to His people, and until today's generation, He is working.

Do you have any aspects of your life that seems falling and dying? May it be physically, financially, emotionally, and even spiritually, He can give life to all of that. Be of good cheer, do not be alarmed. Just as God raised Jesus from the dead, He can also give life to your dying situation. 𝗕𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗲𝘃𝗲, 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗚𝗼𝗱 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗲 𝗶𝘀 𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗛𝗲 𝗶𝘀 𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗴𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗲.

𝗧𝗵𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗱𝗮𝘆, 𝗔𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗹 𝟭𝟱
𝗗𝗮𝗶𝗹𝘆 𝗩𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗲: “Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! According to his great mercy, he has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead.” 1 Peter 1:3 ESV

𝗗𝗮𝗶𝗹𝘆 𝗗𝗲𝘃𝗼: Sa bawat araw na lumilipas, dumating ka na ba sa puntong tinanong mo na ito sa Panginoon, “Para saan ba talaga itong buhay na ito?” ‘Iyong tipong masyado ka nang nao-overwhelm sa iyong mga problema at kasalanan? Nagiging madilim na ang paligid at di mo na Siya marinig?

Kamusta ka na nga ba, kapatid? Kumakapit pa ba? Kinakaya pa ba?

Napakadali sigurong sabihin na, okay lang, kaya pa, kumakapit pa. Pero sa ating loob ay ‘di na okay. Gabi-gabing umiiyak, araw-araw gumigising na di na alam saan ang tungo. Ang masaklap pa ay nahihiyang lumapit kay Lord dahil masyado nang lugmok sa mga kasalanang sa tingin ay di na kayang lagpasan. Ngunit kapatid, nakatingin ang Panginoon sa lahat, problema man ‘yan, kasalanan man ‘yan or gaano man ‘yang kabigat.

Paalala lang: sino nga ba ang Diyos? Di ba’t Siya ang Diyos na makapangyarihan sa lahat? Ang mas makapangyarihan kaysa sa kasalanang sa tingin mong di ka na makakawala o di ka na kayang bigyan ng bagong buhay?

Kapatid, tatagan mo lang ang loob mo. Siya lang ang makakapagbigay ng sagot. Lumapit ka sa Kanya, humingi ng tawad sa ngalan ni Hesus nang buong puso. ‘Wag kang mag-alala! Papakinggan ka Niya at tutulungan ka Niyang malagpasan ang mga ito (see Jeremiah 33:3) Jesus already died for your sins to forgive you, that’s why give thanks to God for this victory! Kung para saan ang buhay mo? For Him! Through your life, His name will be glorified! 𝗛𝗲 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗴𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗮 𝗻𝗲𝘄 𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗲 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝘂𝗻𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗵𝗼𝗽𝗲 𝗯𝗲𝗰𝗮𝘂𝘀𝗲 𝗛𝗲 𝗹𝗼𝘃𝗲𝘀 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝘀𝗼 𝗺𝘂𝗰𝗵!

I share the same sentiments. Worthwhile read, guys.

Progress is a good thing.. But not with Christianity. Here's why, imagine if Christianity (let's say the doctrines) progress as time goes by, then it means that God changes His mind and His law (which He doesn't because if that's the case, He's not perfect). And just imagine how wrong it will be, how do you know what to believe? Progressive Christianity also means that Scripture is unreliable and that'll defeat the whole point of everything we do.

To be clear, I am not saying that we look for a perfect pastor or a perfect church because there's none. But there is also a difference between mistakes because we're not perfect, and deliberate and intentional mistakes.

Here are the signs of progressive Christianity so that we can avoid them.

1. They don't submit in the authority of the Scripture

I think this is funny because they use (or misuse) the Bible but they don't believe in its authority.

2. They don't call sin what the Bible calls sin

They try to twist Scriptures to make it justify sin. They even use terms and "contexts" but if you really look, it's not what the Bible says. It has a lower view of sin and judgement. They make everything about God's love. But don't preach that God is also Just.

3. People pleasing

Of course they won't teach sound doctrine, but they will make the crowd happy with the teachings that they want to hear. Feel good gospel is what they would offer you.

4. They don't preach hell, repentance, or sin because it's unloving.

Again, people-pleasing.

The thing is, it's okay to agree to disagree with non-essentials, but these people are really just trying to lure people into something that isn't even in the Bible.

This is why you should study the Scripture yourself and really be familiar with it. With the help of the Holy Spirit, you can discern what's right and what's wrong. Not everyone who calls themselves "Christians" are Christians.

What really comes to mind when I read this verse is the song Nothing is Impossible by the Planetshakers. It's just mindblowing to me that what seems impossible to us is all possible through Him.

Then I am reminded that all these challenges and obstacles that I face and drown myself in, I should give to the Lord.

The same goes for all of you who are reading this.

Give it all to God and He will guide you and lead you to where He needs you to be.

For nothing will be impossible with God.” And Mary said, “Behold, I am the servant of the Lord; let it be to me according to your word.” And the angel departed from her.

𝗗𝗮𝗶𝗹𝘆 𝗩𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗲: “The Lord will keep you from all evil; he will keep your life. The Lord will keep your going out and your coming in from this time forth and forevermore.” Psalms 121:7-8 ESV

𝗗𝗮𝗶𝗹𝘆 𝗗𝗲𝘃𝗼: Life is a precious gift from God. But when trials and storms come our way, we tend to get anxious about our tomorrows. We might even feel that maybe hope was lost and gone since we are experiencing such scary things. The ongoing pandemic did affect not only our spiritual state but also our mental health.

As seen over the news or on the course of events during the pandemic, many people killed themselves or attempted su***de. They all lost the will to live. We might think like there’s no reason to live anymore, but God wants us to remember He’s our great helper. He heard every plea and prayer from His people.

We are His dearest children. Whatever happens, let’s hold on to our faith, and the Lord will preserve us from this day forward until His second coming.

Do not be anxious. Rejoice in the truth: 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗲’𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗱𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗚𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁 𝗞𝗶𝗻𝗴.
