A massive thank you to everyone who has supported ‘The Magpie’ since its release online last Halloween! The film has clocked up almost 100,000 views this year and comments have been wonderfully positive. As a small celebration, we’ll be sharing some behind the scenes shots and stories from the film over the coming days. The Magpie is a tribute to classic monster movies, and was shot on a micro budget in Norfolk and is the result of a fantastic production in conjunction with the brilliant Aftermath Films.

The film toured international festivals during 2020-2021, earning multiple awards and award nominations including winning Best Film, Best Director, Best Atmosphere and Best Sound.

We realised that this one missed out on getting an official announcement from us but earlier this year we were very fortunate to be recognised at ‘The Grave Plot Film Festival’.

There was an extraordinary strong line up of films shown and we were very excited to find out that we had been awarded ‘Best Film’ at the festival! A massive thank you goes out to the festival and to all involved!

Very excited to announce that our film ‘The Magpie’ has won the award for Best Director. Well done to Oliver Steele and the rest of the crew for bringing the project to life. Wonderful to see the project being so well received by audiences everywhere. Thank you to London Short Film for recognising the film and hosting the festival!

The LSF Film festival is now live and we are excited to announce that we have not only made the official selection but have been nominated for both Best Director and Best Music.

We are very excited to announce our success at ‘The Independent Horror Movie Awards’ with 2 wins for ‘Best Sound’ and ‘Best Atmosphere’ and 7 nominations including ‘Best Short’ and ‘Best Director’!

Special shout outs must go to the sound team: Simon French - Music for the foley recording, Alan Sallabank at 8dB Sound Ltd for producing the final Dolby Atmos mix and Chloe Spicer for On Location Recording.
