With the federal legalization of Cannabis in the United States a strong probability for 2021, there's still a massive lack of information on the science behind this plant that more and more people are turning to as a treatment alternative to the highly addictive opioids so commonly prescribed by Doctors. What do I hope to get out of hosting the Ball Screens and Baby Bumps Podcast? Stronger and more fulfilling relationships with the people I care about. My dream is to be able to tell my daughter about it when she's an adult and her having all this content with her dad ranting about life while he was her age. We often begin to cherish our parents far too late in life and anyone who's had a parent pass-away knows how much they would love to be able to hear their voice again and how big of a heartbreak it is as time passes when they begin to forget what their parents sounded like.

On Day 2 of the Solo Podcast challenge I talk about what got me into first listening to podcasts and eventually hosting my own solo podcast. There are some significant educational benefits to both! As an adult instructor for the past four years one of my biggest learnings was how much the act of being forced to explain a concept in my own words to a class actually helps increase my understanding of the topic and also stores it into my long term memory.
