I want to get back to the heart of what Twisted Bricks is. At my core, I love horror, sci fi, and monsters. And LEGO, of course. So I’m going to make an effort to share more content like that (and not just spam you all with Void War stuff).

To begin, here is an awesome Brickheadz rendition of the Norris crab-head from The Thing. This movie is probably the biggest must-watch for monster movie and stop motion fans. Unbelievable. Props to who built this back in October!

I am so excited to announce that Grey Horizons is now available on Amazon! It has also been re-graded, so the color and light in the film is noticeably upgraded. I am going to resume promoting the film with short form content, as this opens up possibilities for many who were hesitant signing up for Patreon.

Progress in the sequel continues!

Which journey for you? The implications of ai art are fascinating to me. I am finding it tremendously useful in generating visual ideas for stories and scripts, and I am sure that ai tech will be very helpful for indie creators like me in a multitude of ways. I certainly do fear a world that is overrun by soulless ai-auto generated content, but I recognize that it does have a capacity to be a gift for certain creative types. Unfortunately, it does seem to undermine actual visual artists.

On an optimistic note, ai can never destroy the creative process itself. But it the fact that it is already replacing traditional artists in some spaces is quite dark. I will be so curious to see how it unfolds as a technology, both from a creative and ethical standpoint.
