I've been wanting to read this book for so long, The Apple show trailer triggered me to read the book. Plus I've read the Author's Pines book, his writings are very fast-paced, the way he infuses Science-Fiction and mystery is just so brilliant.

Dark Matter certainly took its time to get to the point. But once it does it goes like a freaking bullet train. Multiverse. Guy stuck in different parallel worlds searching for one world - His World, where his wife and son are - the one world where all the decisions he made that defined him and his life.

This is certainly no masterpiece. But a very good read nevertheless. Will watch the show soon.

There is definitely a good story in there beneath all those messy screenwriting. Mid AF.

Sometimes in Investigative-Thriller the final pay-off would seem a little bit off. But road to that pay-off would be quite engaging. Thalavan is one of those thriller.

I loved watching it, will be eagerly waiting for that sequel too. The small flaws can be forgivable. ❤️

I decided a long time ago not to use the word "Masterpiece" very lightly, I save that for movies that are so fu***ng good I can't help but say it.

Hear me say it now:

Twilight of the Warriors: Walled in - is an absolute freaking Masterpiece on a greater scale of epic proportion.

Right from the start it was just a pure adrenaline rush. The action choreographies are an absolute wonder to watch. Plus the production designs and the VFX for the Walled-In City are just pure art. The movie grabbed me from the start and didn't let go till the end credits started rolling. I was constantly thinking about this movie even now after two days of watching it.

Cinema at its most finest form. 10/10.

Saripodhaa Sanivaaram is good commercial cinema. The entire first half was spent around building characters, Which seemed fresh. The later half was as usual Hero vs Villain but told in a quiet engaging way. The climax was stretched way too much, other than that I enjoyed watching it.

After a heavy storm in a small fishing island a MIRACLE baby was found on the seashore. A childless couple took the baby as their own with the approval of other islanders.

Soon the entire island started depending on the child. If they have wounds the child would heal it. If there is no fish to catch the child would wet her hand in the sea and the fishes would come.

Everything was going fine but soon the child would lose its Miracle and the islanders would turn on each other. Their darker side would reveal itself.

The King Tide is a simple horror movie but written well. It had nothing new to tell but what it said... It said so brilliantly. Loved it.

Raayan was technically sound. And had a good first half with well established characters. But it lost its foot in the second half with its writing going everywhere and nowhere. The abrupt change in some character's motivation with no real writing to support it made it almost impossible to enjoy the movie. Below Average.

Twisters seems to be such a light subject for a Disaster movie... but maaan was it well made! It was such a damn pleasure to watch this movie. Simple yet so fu***ng satisfying.

If you wrote the human characters well any movie can be interesting AF.

Happy that Maharaja is getting all the recognition it so rightfully deserves. This is the one thing that makes me like Netflix, The reach is uncanny.

My opinion on Longlegs. (Contains Spoilers)

I've seen too many Detective movies where the final twist ends up surrounding the Detective life itself. People comparing Longlegs with movies like Silence of The Lambs (which was way superior in every aspect) is such a disrespect.

Longlegs is good movie. Very Moody and atmospheric and carried by stellar performances. But it isn't something new or original - We've seen these things before. Over hyping It only killed the fun.

Those glorious punching sounds. I want hundreds more of these movies. The Roundup: Punishment (2024).

To tell a good Non-Linear story. To play with time. The slow revelation of the bigger picture as the timeline gets sorted out. This kinda s**t is my jam.
Nolan did it. Arrival did it. But to see it in my language is such a pleasure. Guaranteed that it has its flaws - but I can see that it was made with passion and an absolute love for cinema.

Kudos Nithin.

Let me tell you something, Maharaja handled the Non-Linear narrative so fu***ng well at one point it actually blew my mind thinking how did the director achieve this in his second freaking movie. My Full respect to Nithilan. Guy can write. I loved his Kurangu Boommai. I adore his Mahharaja.

There are some issues I have with this movie (Nothing big that will minus my love for this movie). Anurag Kashyap isn't good at acting. Any other veteran actor would've done wonders. It's evident he got some material from foreign movies but added his own flavors and originality. So, that can be ignored.

Overall, i simply had a blast in theatre. The satisfaction that I have watched a good movie still lurks inside me even after all these hours. Highly Recommended!

Garudan is really good. This first half is interesting enough to pull you in with the three lead characters, the interval block only elevated the movie to its potential. But sadly in the second half the villain turned so typical - it made me lose interest. The potential I said earlier slowly faded away. Despite this I find the movie quite entertaining.

Good watch.
