So how much work do you put into finishing your prints?
Power sand with 100/120/180, coat with XTC, sand that with 180/220/320, fill any big low spots with filler, sand with 220, XTC again, sand 220/320/400, spot fill again, sand 220/320, 3 coats of filler primer, sand 220/320/400, 1 coat filler primer, sand 400, 2 coats of black primer, sand 400/600 wet, 2 layers of 2x high gloss black, finally 3 coats of shiny gold metallic.
I could have used a little more shaping on the eyeholes and filling on a few low spots but I was done at that point. If I would change anything it would be letting the filler primer stage set up longer. The harder paint sands better. Even with the XTC and fillers, there are still a few spots where I had to sand back down to the plastic to fix stuff. It is amazing how much paint you put on to only see it come off as a cloud of dust.
Sometimes you reach your limits and I did with this one.
