When bringing a book to life, my favorite day is when I get to hand the proof to the author. It’s a milestone, a completion, it’s the manifestation of an idea. There are few things that compare.

It’s not an easy road, this publishing thing. There’s road blocks, speed bumps, U turns, and the unexpected flat tire, but it’s a journey worth the risk. This week we flipped the switch on a new work. This one has all three formats, ebook, paperback, and hardback.

Three different projects all birth out of one idea. Congratulations Roy Goble on the newest addition to the Junkyard Wisdom collection!

I'm sitting at my computer editing a script for a play. Not just any play - one that I adapted from a book - my book. All of that seems so bizarre.

Last year the book The Artist's Way was recommended to me. I can't recall a book that has had such an impact on my life. It is because of that book that I have new paintings on the wall and the reason I'm sitting here editing my play.

Starting next Monday (Feb 6) my 'all things creative' buddy Kara Stewart and I will be hosting a 13 week zoom gathering that we are calling The Creative Journey. Using The Artist Way as our guide, we will explore together what this thing called a creative life looks like.
