This summer was unbelievably hotter 🥵 and unbearable than the last year. I couldn't afford a cooler for the terrace room as I had other expenses of Chhotu to deal with but I fixed an exhaust in the terrace room, even that didn't make any difference. I used to leave fan and exhaust switched on from the evening but nothing worked. After a point, I noticed even after leaving water on the floor the water evaporated but the floor stayed warm. I experienced all this because I had Chhotu at home and I had to stay with him otherwise I wouldn't had experienced this. I can't and don't want to imagine what the next year will bring but undoubtedly it will be worst than this year. I wonder how many of us are taking these changes seriously!

जब किसी के थोड़ी सी खरोंच भी लग जाए तो बोलने लगते हैं कुत्ते ने काट लिया लेकिन जब इंसान जानवर को मरता है, दर्द देता है तो सब के मुंह पर ताले पड़ जाते हैं।
ये चिरकुट है।

तीन दिन पहले इस गाय के लिए मुझे फ़ोन आया था कि हाइवे पर इसका एक्सीडेंट हो गया और पैर में फ्रेक्चर है। मैं जब वहां पहुंची तो मैने देखा की इसका बाएं तरफ का पैर बिलकुल टूट चुका है जिस वजह से ये सड़क पर से हट भी नही पाई थी, ये दर्द से बहुत कराह रही थी लेकिन मैं अकेली इसकी मदद करने में सक्षम नहीं थी तो मैंने एक NGO को फोन किया तो पहले उन्होंने उस गाय के फोटो और विडियो मांगे ताकि वो आकर उसकी मदद कर सके, तो मैंने उन्हें जल्दी से भेज दिए। वो गाय अभी भी इस भरी दोपहरी की धूप में वही पड़ी हुई थी, जब तक NGO वाले भैया सब आते तब तक उसके लिए पानी का व्यवस्था कर उसे पानी पिलाया।

वो इतनी दर्द में थी कि पास से कुछ लोगों को बुलाकर बांस की सहायता से उसे छांव में लेकर जा ही रहे थे उसी दौरान उसने दम तोड़ दिया।
आस पास के लोगों से पूछने पर पता चला कि करीब चार घंटे पहले एक पशु चिकित्सालय में काम करने वाला व्यक्ति उसको इंजेक्शन दे कर गया लेकिन उस बेचारी गाय को वहीं पड़ा छोड़ गया।

ये गाय आधी रात से हाइवे पर इस हालत में पड़ी हुई थी, शायद आप सोच पा रहे होंगे कि उसने कितना दर्द झेला है, रात से लेकर दोपहरी के पहले यदि किसी ने इंसानियत दिखाई होती तो शायद वो किसी अस्पताल में जिंदा होती।
उस वक्त तापमान 40°C था।

कुछ सावल जो हम सबको खुद से पूछने की जरूरत है:
✓ ये गाय हाइवे पर क्या कर रही थी?
✓ हाइवे पर से इतने लोग गुजरे कैसे किसी को यह दर्द से तड़पती गाय दिखाई नहीं दी?
✓ इसकी मौत का जिम्मेदार कौन है?

नोट: वो शायद गर्भवती भी थी😞

इस साल मैंने घर पर ही फूल और पत्तों से होली के रंग सिर्फ 2 दिन में बना दिए।
घर पर रंग बनाने का एकमात्र कारण प्लास्टिक की पैकेजिंग से बचना था। मैं इस प्रक्रिया में किसी भी खाद्य पदार्थ का उपयोग नहीं करना चाहती थी इसलिए केवल विकल्प बचा था फूल और किसी तरह मुझे प्रक्रिया के दौरान पत्तियों का उपयोग करने का विचार आया और परिणाम आपके सामने है।
सभी प्राकृतिक रंग प्राकृतिक सुगंध के साथ।

This year I made holi colours at home with flowers and leaves in just 2 days.
The sole reason for making colours at home was to avoid plastic packaging.
I didn't wanted to use any edibles in the process so only option left was flower and somehow I came across idea of using leaves during the process and here are the results.
All natural colours with natural fragrance.

These are actually loofah gourd, the vegetable but when these are left to muture on the plant itself they turn into great scrubber which are zero waste and sustainable.

Can be used to bathe, clean dishes and other stuff.

अब ये इंसान (जिसकी कल कुत्तों को परेशान करते हुए वीडियो पोस्ट की थी) दूसरों से भी कुत्तों को पिटवा रहा है।

कूड़ा छोड़ने की का एक जगह बनी हुई है इसके वावजूद ये इंसान और इसका परिवार खिड़की से कूड़ा सामने फील्ड में फेंकते हैं।

नोट: अब तक इस इंसान के मैंने चार वीडियो पोस्ट किए हैं चारों में ही ये कुत्तों को परेशान करता हुआ दिख रहा है ना कि कुत्ते इसे।

दसवीं क्लास की गर्मियों की छुट्टियों में कैमिस्ट्री में हमें साबुन बनाने का गृहकार्य मिला था। घरवालों ने बनाने नहीं दिया ये बोलकर कि "हाथ कट जाते हैं कॉस्टिक सोडे से"😟।
पर अब साबुन तो बनाना ही था तो हमने मुल्तानी मिट्टी और नारियल का तेल (तेल तो इस्तेमाल होता ही है और कॉस्टिक सोडा इस्तेमाल नहीं करने दे रहे तो मुल्तानी मिट्टी डाल देती हूं त्वचा के लिए बढ़िया होती है🤔) एक ग्लास में मिलाकर फ्रिज में जमने रख दिया, शायद थोड़ा पानी भी डाला था😆

दूसरे दिन उस साबुन को एक डिब्बे में रखकर स्कूल ले गए पर तब तक वो लूंजू पुंजू हो चुका था (फ्रिज का असर जो खत्म हो गया था😄)। जब अध्यापक को वो साबुन दिखाया तो वो उसे देखकर मुस्कुरा दी।

गिनती के कुछ बच्चे ठीक ठाक सा साबुन बनाकर लाए थे बाकी तो कुछ बनाकर ही नहीं लाए।
इसके बावजूद अध्यापक ने क्लास में साबुन बनाना नहीं सिखाया!

Date seeds germinated!!!!💃🌱

It was around two weeks since I sow date seeds and nothing came out of the soil so I dug it up yesterday and found a germinated seed. To my surprise the root came from the opposite side of the slit!

The dustin was full so I collected all the waste (leaves, twigs, bits of compost and some seeds, monkey's potty = Compost, which later became the right medium for seed germination) of the terrace in three corners and secured it with bricks so that it doesn't fly away or move towards drainage due to rain.
And from that day it rained everyday and as a result the seeds in those corners germinated.🌱

The most seeds germinated are of neem, few are of tomato and one is of lemon .🌿🌿🍅🍋

मैं पिछले तीन सालों से फल खाकर घुटलिया संभाल कर रखती हूं।
बारिश के मौसम में उन्हें बोती हूं और जब पौधा बन जाता है तो उन्हें ऐसे लोगों के यहां लगाती हूं जिन्हें पेड़ पौधों से प्यार हो, जो उनका पेड़ बनने तक ख्याल रखें।

इस साल ये सारे बीज बोने वाली हूं।

4-5 दिन पहले रात के करीब 11 बजे एक बंदर हमारी खिड़की पर आया। वह वही आवाज़ करने लगा जो भूख लगने पर करते हैं। वैसे रात को बंदर खिड़की पर आते नहीं हैं। पर अब जब आया और आवाज़ दे रहा था तो मैंने कुछ खाने को दिया पर उसने छुआ तक नहीं। और वहां से गया भी नहीं और लगातार आवाज़ लगाता रहा। तीन चार मिनट तक मैं सोचती रही कि इसे क्या चाहिए, कुछ समझ नहीं आ रहा था। एक दम से ख्याल आया कहीं पानी तो नहीं चाहिए इसे! मैं फिर पानी लेकर आयी और उसने गटा गट पूरा पानी पी लिया और दोबारा लाई फिर पी लिया और वहां से चला गया।

कृपया अपने आस पास रहने वाले जीवों को खाना पानी दें। उनके दिए संकेतों को नजरअंदाज ना करें। वो बोलकर नहीं बता सकते कि किस चीज़ की ज़रूरत है।

वैसे ये फोटो कल की है। उस दिन के बाद से अब मैं उन्हें खिलाने के बाद पानी भी पिलाती हूं।

कल हम बाहर से खाना लाए थे।

प्लास्टिक की पैकेजिंग से बचने के लिए हम घर से बर्तन लेकर गए थे।

बिना प्लास्टिक का कचरा पैदा किए बाहर के खाने का आनंद लिया।

जब भी हम बाहर से कुछ भी खाने के लिए लाते हैं तो हमेशा अपने बर्तन साथ लेकर जाते हैं।

यह करना आसान है। आप भी कर सकते हैं।

11 march, 2024 Somebody called me to inform about this dog who was unable to move and was screaming in pain. When I reached that place I found that hewas not moving, I only saw a little tail movement. After talking to people around there I came to know he was lying there in this condition since morning and nobody cared to help him in anyway. And somebody had beaten him badly when dog were fighting amongst themselves. I had no choice but to bring him home and do whatever I can to help him. I gave him egg and water but he didn't had anything, he vomitted twice. Doctor asked to give him fluids and some injections which I gave. But after sometime he started having seizures and that too over and over again. We were together just for 6 hours in which I did whatever I could but he didn't survive.
