Tech giant share price reached a new record high on Thursday due to market optimism about the prospect of artificial intelligence (AI).

The tech giant’s market capitalization now stand at 2.59tn, and it is seen as an AI leader in software industry due to significant in open AI upgrades, such as ChatGpt to Azure cloud services and the search engine bing,As it seeks to compete with google.

LONDON — Former U.K. Prime Minister Boris Johnson shocked Britain on Friday by quitting as a lawmaker after being told he will be sanctioned for misleading Parliament.

Johnson quit after receiving the results of an investigation by lawmakers over misleading statements he made to Parliament about “partygate.”

In a statement, he accused opponents of trying to drive him out.

He said he had “received a letter from the Privileges Committee making it clear — much to my amazement — that they are determined to use the proceedings against me to drive me out of Parliament.”

He called the committee a “kangaroo court.”

The resignation will trigger a special election to replace Johnson as a lawmaker for a suburban London seat.

Johnson, whose career has been a roller coaster of scandals and comebacks, led the Conservatives to a landslide victory in 2019 but was forced out by his own party less than three years later.

He had been awaiting the outcome of an investigation by a House of Commons standards committee over misleading statements he made to Parliament about a slew of gatherings in government buildings in 2020 and 2021 that breached pandemic lockdown rules.

The Indian Express Report: Azamgarh uttar pradesh; A total of 18 persons have been arrested here under Uttar Pradesh’s anti-conversion law for allegedly offering money to convert people to Islam, a senior police officer said on Monday.

An Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate sent the accused to nine days of police remand on Monday.

The incident took place on May 21 when people attending a Qawwali event at Chirkihit village in the Devgaon area here were allegedly offered money and lured into converting to Islam, Superintendent Anurag Arya said.

CNBC Report: Elon musk is the richest person in the world again, according to Bloomberg billionaires index’s update figures Thursday.

The Tesla CEO saw his wealth jump 40.3% this year to $192 billion, after shares of electric cars maker rose about 24% in May, according to factSet data. Musk was knocked out of first place by LVMH CEO Bernard Arnault in December, after shares of Tesla fell after his $44 billion acquisition of Twitter.

Most of musk’s wealth tied to Tesla’s stock. Arnault now trails behind musk as the world’s second richest person at $187 billion, followed by Jeff Bezos, founder of amazon, According to Bloomberg report.
