Hello there, my friend
Iโve been wondering, โhow are you?โ
These past few months have been tough,
But I believe so are you.
If you ask me the same thing,
Well, my lifeโs both yellow and blue.
Clients seem nowhere to be found,
Freelancing isnโt really an easy job.
Strategies, strategies; wrack our brains more,
Where to look, what to do, how will I grow
We get burn out, and tired, and lose our will to sow
But itโs the business where people just come and go.
Nothing in the world is ever permanent,
Just like the stagnant situation we are living,
Just like the sadness and frustration you feel.
Let it trickle, let it flow, let us KEEP GOING.
You are not alone in the real world,
You are not fighting a one-man battle.
You believe in others, as I do in you,
Together, we will run free from the shackle.
I want you to know I believe in you
Thereโs no doubt here, I believe you can.
YOU CAN AND YOU WILL, I see it.
YES, YOU CAN keep your fire burning and lit.
Being a freelancer is not always cotton candies,
Where it is always filled with softness and sweet taste,
I would like to think it as a box of mysteries,
Youโll never know what it is until you see what you take.
Today might appear dark where heavy fogs are ahead,
You might not see enough reason to continue what you started,
But SOMEDAY IT WILL ALL MAKE SENSE, my friend.
Youโll unravel the universe; your weary mind will be mended.
You may feel like you are running behind,
But you are just right on track of your time.
Life is not a race; there is no universal finish line,
Everyone just has their own, distinct timeline.
No one is ahead of you, nor one is behind you,
You are on a unique track; others are on theirs.
Your route can be zigzag or just a straight,
Focus on yourself, YOUโRE DOING GREAT.
STOP DOUBTING YOURSELF, youโre okay.
You have come so far from where youโve stayed,
Your baby steps are still steps that brought you here,
SMALL PROGRESS IS STILL PROGRESS, dear.
It is easy to be hard on oneself because it is you,
You know your weaknesses and lapses too.
Stop beating yourself for what you canโt control,
And start recognizing the small wins of your goal.
Have no fear of perfection, you should take it easy.
Accept that there are just times we do things poorly.
Your work doesnโt always have to be above satisfactory,
Sometimes good enough is good, no harm in mediocrity.
CONTROL YOURSELF, ALTER YOUR THINKING, AND DELETE NEGATIVITY
Easier said than done, but I know you can be free.
You can HUSTLE TILL YOU MAKE IT, but rest if you must.
You can DO ONE TASK AT A TIME, to not become a rust.
Steel your resolve, no one can pull you down.
Thereโll be mornings when you wonโt get yourself up,
Your struggles will weigh you down and to the ground,
But TRUST YOURSELF because God knows we can overcome.
JUST BELIEVE IN YOURSELF and in what you can offer,
Challenges are never out of sight, but you can conquer,
We have a long way to go before we reach the summit,
IโM NOT SAYING ITโS EASY; IโM SAYING ITโS WORTH IT.
You are more than what you think you are,
Your heart is the sun, your mind is like the stars,
They just explode when exhaustion is astronomical,
Without them, the world is bland and utterly dark.
DREAMS DO COME TRUE, so try not to falter,
All your sacrifices and efforts, what you do now matter,
The reams of these endeavors, in your heart, remember.
In the future, they are weapons to strive for the better.
