Now, this is who we call a failure manager.
A lot of dvmb people watch football nowadays.
They don't know that it's very difficult to win trophies in teams like Southampton and Tottenham.

Luton are 18th on the table but their fans still appreciate their manager because they know it's not easy because of their budget.
Tomorrow dvmb people will say he hasn't won a major trophy.

Chelsea could have won the Carabao Cup if the players were clinical in front of goal.

If Chelsea had more experienced/world class players, surely they would have won a trophy this season.
So why do people think Pochettino can't win a trophy?

Judging him by his past, forgetting that he has become more experienced compared to then.
You see the likes of Ruben Amorim and Roberto De Zerbi being mentioned as better options.
How are these managers better than Pochettino?

A manager that has reached the champions league final is very experienced and they always end up winning the champions league with time.
Klopp at Dortmund in 2013, Liverpool in 2018, then won it in 2019.
Tuchel at PSG in 2020, then won it with Chelsea in 2021.
Guardiola at Man City in 2021, then won it in 2023.

Pochettino at Tottenham in 2019.
He will win at Chelsea if given time and better players.

I always try to learn lessons from football and in my lifetime I’ve learnt a lot from this game.

And Cole Palmer has taught me another great lesson.

Ambition!

One has to be ambitious in life to achieve one’s goals.

If Cole Palmer remained at Manchester City, he would be assured of trophy wins but he’d never be a regular starter or an indispensable part of the team. And thus, he would never be a GREAT player.

But he took that initiative (and risk) to leave a superb team for a floundering one because he wants a place he can be assured of first team football so he can prove himself at the highest level.

He believes in himself and believes he is worth more than what life was giving him at Manchester City.

Today at Chelsea, he is not just the most important player in the team, he is having a dream season and is the EPL highest goalscorer!!

Can you beat that?!

By this time last year it was unthinkable to imagine him being part of England’s s had for Euros 2024, but today it seems almost impossible to imagine him not being in Germany this summer.

I don’t know who needs to hear this but sometimes you need to leave that comfort zone and try something “risky”

People may call you names and try to discourage you but if you believe in yourself and the odds are in your favour, you’d be glad you did.

If Anthony Martial, for example, permanently left Manchester United three years ago I’m sure he won’t have the redundant career he has today cos he is one player I personally believe has the talents to be more than he is today.

Be ambitious.

Take that risk.

Leave home if you can.

Believe in yourself.

Invest in yourself.
