In Episode 11, Kristen talks more about how she has 79% estrogen-positive breast cancer which uses the hormone estrogen to grow. She is then prescribed Anastrozole, a hormone blocker that she has to take for the next 5-10 years, to help decrease the amount of estrogen that the body makes.
