Yesterday marked a significant moment for me… I was 18 years old when I came to London for the summer which then turned into another 18 years of my life! Today also marks a special day because today means I’m living in the UK a day longer than I ever lived in Poland!
A lot can happen in 18 years… I went from selling muffins in a coffee shop to working with leaders across the globe - a journey I could have never imagined! 💚
However, no journey (or life) is ever a straight line, instead it has peaks and valleys. There were times along the way where I stumbled, I failed, I was heartbroken, I lost hope, I forgot who I was, I went off track, I was naive, I lost people I cared about, I was manipulated, I was defeated, I was lied to, I was scared, I was broke, I was hurt, I was weak and I was lost.
BUT thankfully at the same time I was also found (by God himself), I forgave, I got up, I gained friends for life, I was healed, I was given a chance, I have learned the lessons, I won, I grew, I was made whole, I fought hard, I took the opportunities, I was set free, I loved again, I prayed, I changed, I was re-shaped, I stayed true, I overcame struggles, I preserved and I was saved.
I wouldn’t be who I am now if it wasn’t for the journey, my heart overflows with gratitude 🙌🏻
[Isaiah 40:31] “but those who trust in the Lord for help will find their strength renewed; they will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary; they will walk and not grow weak.”
