Whilst digging around in the song mines this week I came across a new tunnel with a giant balloon wedged in it. I lunged with a pointed stick and the balloon went POP! There was Pop everywhere. I recognised XTC, Badfinger, This Way North, DM3 and Suburban Urchins but the rest of the pop was shiny and new to me!

Dear Diggers of Dig It Up, 7MID fm has a wonderful new computer system. So wonderful in fact that it has banned itself from being online, so the reach of Dig It Up on Monday was 1% of the usual. I’m hopefully confident that this quirk will be rectified by Monday week so I’ll play #77 again, if that’s OK? If, by some magical trickery, you did get to listen to this week’s show - let me know how you managed it, and then say “That was such a great show I’d love to hear it again!”
