Filer Sound Production A mobile recording/mixing/mastering service for bands in the area. I have industry-standard equipment, and am looking to record bands free-of-charge.

I'm beginning to record local bands free-of-charge with my mobile equipment. I use:

Lexicon IONIX U82S
8 output USB device

3 Shure SM57s
1 Shure SM52
1 Rode NT1-a
1 Sennheiser e602
2 Rode NT5s

I'd record you as a whole as a guide track, then go through and record each instrument separately for the final mix with the guide track in headphones. Using the guide track keeps the feel of a live performance, and the separate recordings allow for greater control and quality of your end product.
