RESPONSE TO THE UNSEEN STRUGGLES

The car in front crept along, unmoved by my persistent honking. Frustration bubbled within me until I noticed a small sticker on its rear:

"Physically challenged; Please be patient.”

Instantly, my demeanor shifted. I eased off the gas, feeling a surge of protectiveness towards the car and its driver. Though I arrived a few minutes late to work, it no longer seemed important.

This encounter prompted a profound question:

Would my patience have held without that sticker? Why do we rely on stickers to inspire patience?

Would we extend more kindness if everyone wore labels detailing their unseen battles:

-job loss
-cancer fights
-divorce struggles
-emotional abuse
-grief
-financial hardship, and more?

Everyone battles unseen demons. Let's respond with patience and kindness, sparing others the burden of explanation. Remember, a simple act of patience is a mark of respect for the unseen struggles each person faces. May your day be filled with blessings. Happy Wednesday! 🫶🏻✨
