We then get into News from Florida, with a 91 year old who attempts a murder in broad daylight because someone got grass on his car. Quote, "Anybody messes with my Cadillac gonna find themselves in the grave. Once I get out of prison, I'm gonna hunt those punks down and finish the job". The second story from Florida includes a woman who loves getting beaten up, and wants more. She is also a billionaire witch who won't use the toilet because it's "too dirty". Going in her pants is apparently not too dirty though.

Finally, we have a Love Pile, including how to tell if an online date is interested in a long term relationship or one-night-stand, why women love their expensive purses, and mistakes you made before marriage that could lead to divorce.

The strangest part of the story is it seems his Jewish wife was actively involved in his blog and podcast, and even read an anti-Jewish version of “The Night Before Christmas”. Predictably, the N**i movement has not taken this news very well.

Monday was Martin Luther King Jr day here in America. If you don’t know who King was, he is an incredibly important figure in American history who fought for civil rights for all minorities in the 1960’s. He was assasinated by a bullet to the head and is now remembered on the 3rd monday of January each year. To honor him, we begin with a quiz – “Know Your King” where Brandon tests his knowledge of pop culture questions with the word “King” somewhere in the answer.

Then, we discuss many interesting facts about Martin Luther King day, such as the petition that made in a national holiday was delivered to Congress in 1970 with a total of six million names on it. This in the age before computers or the internet, and was and remains the largest official petition in US history. Today on The English Express radio podcast, we begin with a food pile. We learn that Tart Cherry juice helps you sleep better and longer, while another man drinks poison to avoid jail (he deserves to both die and rot in jail. Sadly, we can only subject him to one of those). For those who enjoy KFC, there is now a KFC scented candle so your entire house can smell like fried chicken, even when you don’t actually have any.

For those who don’t know, whenever you order coffee from a Starbucks, the cashiers write your name on the paper cup and alert you when your drink is ready by calling out your name. Well, at this particular Starbucks the man ordering the drink is quite large, and as he had ordered a freshly made Grande White Chocolate Mocha runs 470 calories. For one drink. the name they wrote on the cup… well, let’s just say they don’t use his real name. Smartphones, Parties, & Toilet For Rent

No need, the moron couldn't help himself and tagged himslef in all the photos which led to an immediate arrest. And of course a man trying to rent his toilet - ONLY the toilet - for $4000 a month.

Merry Christmas! Happy New Year! The holiday season is upon us! I thought it would be interesting to discuss some holiday news, including some examples of children writing to Santa Claus and what they say. Another Christmas tradition is going to meet santa at your local mall - well about 27% of dog owners are now taking their pets to sit on santa's lap... why??? I have no earthly clue. The holiday photo industry is a 2.2 Billion dollar market though! So at least Santa doesnt mind!

Then in segment 2, some horrible jerk is vandalizing one man's yearly Nativity scene. They cut of Mother Mary's head, and threw baby Jesus into the river. Of course, it is zombie Mother Mary, and zombie baby Jesus. So, that may be one reason behind it. Then there is the story of children's slides which are slicing fingers off as you go down, so that's not very good, and the man who took one of those toy plastic cars that the kids get into and drive around in at about the speed of a snail. Yea, he's installed a 160cc Honda engine into his child's toy car, and it goes 40 MPH (more than 60 KPH). So, that sounds like a disaster waiting to happen.

We finish with the city of Los Angeles suing stores for lying about their "discounts" (that really aren't) and a group of teenagers playing "N**i's VS Jews Beer Pong". it... ends as well as you might guess. Turkey Talk, WTFlorida? & Thanksgiving Facts

How did you spend your Thanksgiving? Good food and fun? Or if you live in a country other than the USA, did you celebrate at all? On today’s show, we talk about how we spent our thanksgiving, and recount some of the ways you know your thanksgiving was bad (Turkey? I thought YOU were bringing the turkey!). It also happens to be the same time when Blackbeard the Pirate was killed off the Virginia coast (probably during a black Friday sale). In 1886, it was also when George Ferris died at the age of 37, just 3 years after inventing the Ferris Wheel. I guess he had whatever was going around… His mother always said he wouldn’t go anywhere in life… We talk about all this and more on this week’s edition of the English Express Radio Podcast. It also seems the average cost of Thanksgiving dinner has gone down this year, $49.87 for a family of 10, down from 2015’s high of $50.11. Looks like Trumps economic policies are working already!

What The Florida???

We also have an edition of The Florida Pile on today’s show, including the guy who thought it would be a good idea to check if a gun was loaded, by holding it up to his head and pulling the trigger (yes, the gun was in fact loaded).

Then we have a man who caught his girlfriend cheating on him… by reading her ex boyfriend’s obituary online. The man did not overreact AT ALL, and only broke a few things before he tried to suffocate her. As he was arrested by police, he issued a very sweet apology to her, “I’m going to try to forgive her for cheating on me. But she’d better not look at that obituary one more time!!!”.

And my favorite story of the day, Jeff Waters, the homeless man who tried to cash a $368,000,000,000 (that’s 368 Billion dollars). He bought the blank check (issued in the 90’s) from Tito, another homeless man who sold it to him for $100 and told him it would cash for any amount. He wanted the money to start an Italian restaurant.

“It’s always been my dream to own the best Italian restaurant in the earth,” Waters told police. “I’m 10% Italian. Cooking authentic Italian food is in my blood. I had planned to make the restaurant 80 million sq. feet and able to accommodated (sic) 30 million eaters at once, plus it was gonna be totally underwater so people could look at sharks while they ate. But the bank wouldn’t give me my money they owed me. Tito said the check was good for any amount I wanted to write it for. So blame Tito, not me. I’m as innocent as a schoolgirl.”

So, the election is over and Donald Trump will soon take over as the 45th president. We don't want to get too into the controversy surrounding his election, so we instead bring you a variety of interesting Donald Trump firsts. We begin with The Donald, and the history he has made. He is the first US president to star in a Pizza Hut commercial, the first to appear on the cover of Pl***oy magazine, and the first to own his own football team. He had a great plan with that team. He would buy it cheap, sue the NFL for being a monopoly, convince the two leagues to merge, and end up with a sports franchise infinitely more valuable than what he purchased it for. Unfortunately it didn't quite work out the way he planned... We do tell the full story today on the show audio files.

In the second segment, we discover some women would do anything to be thin, including forcing their best friend to be fat for life as long as it meant she didn't have to be. The same women would also rather be super models than win a Nobel Peace Prize. Then we do the Jerk Test. we answer a variety of questions, analyze the answers, and determine what terrible people we actually are.

Finally, a voice from the past is driving an Uber now. For those of you old enough to remember, AOL was THE premiere internet service throughout the 90's, and even inspired a Meg Ryan/Tom Hanks remake, "You've Got Mail". Have you ever wondered who was responsible for the voice behind the sounds we all remembered? A woman in Cleveland Ohio got in an Uber car, and recognized the voice of Elwood Edwards. She realized who it was, and forced him to repeat his famous words in a video she posted to Twitter. For his work as the Voice of America in the 90's, he was paid exactly... $200. Not per week, month, or year, $200 in total. No wonder he's driving for Uber.

Of course the big news in America these days is the impending Presidential election between Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump. Until about a week ago, it seemed Hillary was well on her way to clinching the election - but, uh oh now it looks like the FBI has reopened the investigation into her private email server, with 650,000 new pieces of potential evidence. Whether or not the new evidence actually leads to anything substantial, it is definitely hurting her chances at taking the white house. We open the show with this discussion, along with commentary about who we would like to see win and why.
