Slap Betty! have signed a contract for their management with H&R Productions.
We at H&R Productions are happy to announce our new signing with Slap Betty! SB! is a four piece rock band from Kemi, a small city in Northern part of Finland. The band was founded in 2007 and has released since then four EP's. Currently they are working hard on their debut album. Slap Betty! has been gigging heavy throughout Finland and always enjoys a great response from the audience, including some very successful band competitions. Some of the highlights include a place in Finland's "Global Battle Of The Bands" final and a victory in "Nuclear Explosion Band Contest", both took place in 2012. During "GBOB" the band received some airtime on television.
As a live band Slap Betty is truly energetic! Sweat smelling shows mixed with TRUE rock n' roll attitude and catchy songs have led the band to many magical gigs. (Supporting Backyard Babies in 2009, a gig at legendary Club Tavastia, various other festival appearances etc..) It just works!
Slap Betty received some great reviews from a number of sites. Several ezines have also announced them as "Band Of The Month".

Continuing with as many gigs as possible, there are still more awesome rock n' roll songs to follow as the band continues to finish with new material for their first full length album. Teemu Ylinikka: Guitar & Vocals
The leader of the band a small guy with an unbelievable voice. It doesn't always necessarily mean a good voice, but with Teemu it almost always means something at least bearable! Doesn't drink whiskey as much as Lemmy, but still sounds like he does. And that's the sound that suits this band perfectly!
Juhana Länttä: Lead Guitar
Whoever the f**k said that the time of guitar heroes is over, is wrong? We have actual proof with this band that this is not the case. Unusual "rock n'roll" 'lead parts and more or less weird riffs provide for a mixed style. That's what it's all about. Anyhow, the lifestyle seems something more traditional to the rockers..
Juuso Kumpulainen: Drums
Is the "good looking sporty guy" in the band. So basically other members of the band think that he's a f**king idiot. It might also have something to do with the amount of the ladies backstage. He is a great drummer, at least most of the time. Sometimes throws in so weird fills that someone like Mike Portnoy would get confused, trying to understand what the hell goes on in his mind.
Antti Toppinen: Bass
The bassist, in the every meaning of the word. Great player with a great drive. Most of the time doesn't know what's happening. "No one told me anything about this...", one of his famous quotes. He joined the band in 2009. Since then he's probably had the same kind of experiences like Jason Newsted in Metallica at the late '80's. Great guy, really!
