Two clubs that share a interesting history, will battle it out for the eastern divison title and a chance to win the VPN’s American Clubs League - PS 🏆

Back in Fifa 18 Olympus FC & Prolific Futbol decided to joine forces for a two or three seasons, and create what many considered to be a super team at that time.

This newly formed group of players went on to win two league titles and a cup title before going their separate ways.

A few fifa's later, the names that once celebrated victories together,
now stand in each other's path to a championship. 🔵⚔️🔴

📊 VPN’s American Clubs League - PS | East Division 1 | Szn. 30 | Week 2 - 3 | Review | 📰

[1st] OLYMPUS ⚡ (7 • 1 • 0) - Up four spots, "The Gods" are in impressive form so far this season.

They've put together some standout performances on offense & defense that currently has them leading the league in goals scored (21) and goals allowed (3).

In a recent four game stretch, Olympus (without conceding) unleashed a (17) goal barrage on their opponents.

It began with a 1-0 (W) against Fatal XI, followed by a 4-0 (W) vs Muscle Sharks, a 8-0 (W) vs Looney Goonz, a 3-0 (W) vs Cosa Nostra, and ended with a 1-0 (W) vs Fifa Holicz.

Can the Olympians hold their #1 spot at the top of the mountain and remain undefeated with World Class & InFamous Ones on the way?

[💥] (Wk. 2-3) IMPACT PLAYERS: RoixLeo, ElTigre, Lotto94, Hofdog, FearKevin, Loganis, MannySVG, Chivas14, Yedlin

[2nd] FATAL XI 💀 (6 • 2) - Up seven spots, and playing well behind the scoring (13) of Ronaldo_Skills & the (9) assisting from El_B1CHOO.

After their loss to Olympus, went on a four game winning streak of their own, that catapulted them from ninth to second place in the division.

This is a club playing with a lot of confidence and momentum right now and expectations within the club should be high.

Can Fatal keep the winning streak going with Cosa Nostra & in their path?

[💥] (Wk. 2-3) IMPACT PLAYERS: Ronaldo_Skills, ElB1CHOO, F8LNasty, F8LBerserk, NDIDI

[3rd] INFAMOUS❓ONES (5 • 1 • 2) Up twelve spots after a slow 0-2 start, this jump shouldn't be a surprise to anyone familiar with the pedigree of this club.

The new acquisitions on defense are starting to gel a bit more, as they look to keep things rolling behind the scoring of Bryan (10) and assisting of Thiago (9).

The wildcard for them could be Mini, If he can keep pace with the production of the former two mentioned.

Can maintain their six game unbeaten streak with DANZ & waiting for them?

[💥] (Wk. 2-3) IMPACT PLAYERS: IO_Thiago, IO_Bryan, IO_Mini

[4th] FIFA 🎮🍺 HOLICZ (4 • 3 • 1) - Down three spots, this isn't the dominant we've been use to seeing.

That could be attributed to a number of different factors.

Whatever the case, Holicz are looking for a way out of a four game rut, where they've tied three straight with two coming against (10th) Danz & (11th) Thunderducks before losing their first game of the season to Olympus.

Regardless, is still the last team you want to sleep on. The core players in this club has won a lot together so I expect them to find a way back on track sooner or later.

With Fatal XI rolling in, this is a good opportunity for Holicz to get some of their mojo back with a win vs a top three team.

[💥] (Wk. 2-3) IMPACT PLAYERS:
Dieguinho, Tofske, Andressi, Evo

[5th] WORLD 🌎 CLASS (4 • 2 • 2) - Up one spot, are on a steady pace right now with contribution's coming from all over the field.

Having four different midfielders providing assist, with two being CDM's is a good sign.

On the other hand, World Class has to be better defensively. Currently they have conceded the most goals (10) out of all the too five teams and scored the least (13).

Even if the strikers aren't putting up crazy numbers what they've managed to do up until now is respectable enough to not doubt them.

With & coming up in their next four games, and witj Prolific on their heels, they can't afford to drop to many points right now, or they could find themselves out of the top five and below the playoff threshold.

[💥] (Wk. 2-3) IMPACT PLAYERS: Matatan, Dopee, Bombon, Unleveled, Exclusive, Kyross, Gabrielo

[6th] PROLIFIC ⚽ FUTBOL (3 • 4 • 1) - Down two spots, has not been playing their best brand of football right now.

Besides a big 4-1 win vs World Class three games ago, they haven't scored more than one goal in a game since their season opener against Fatal when they won 2-0.

Offensively they've been everything but "prolific".

After eight games, Ammar has only two goals to his name, while Mo leads the team with five and four assist.

In midfield, Chesco was brought in to fill the void at CAM but has been very underwhelming to say the least.

When you're surrounded by that many skilled players as the main creator, (1) goal & (0) assist is baffling.

Even with some key players struggling they're still right in the thick of things with four bottom of the table opponents next up on the schedule for them.

[💥] (Wk. 2-3) IMPACT PLAYERS: Mo7, iiiRicky, HaroldChampion, Ammar*, FraserCov

[7th] LOONEY 🐷 GOONS (4 • 1 • 3) - Down five spots, the newly promoted club began the season on a high note but the reality of D1 competition compared to D2 is starting to hit them.

I don't know how long they'll be able to stay above the playoff line with the third most goals (16) conceded already and the fourth least amount of goals scored (9).

[💥] (Wk. 2-3) IMPACT PLAYERS: Myrord_45, Leo9x, Jack11x, MooyMtz

[8th] Fusion FC (4 • 4) - Up six spots, this is a team that will not go down without a fight.

The duality of Fusion appears when they beat a team like World Class then turnaround and lose to a struggling .

They've only loss by more than one goal twice this season.

To put that into context, it simply means that they are better than what their record shows.

They have a few well know veteran names on the roster that has experienced their fair share of success in other clubs so they're aware of what it takes to win.

Time will tell if that knowledge can be put to good use at Fusion.

[💥] (Wk. 2-3) IMPACT PLAYERS: Omar13va, iPuxy, giox, JAV1, ofasmack

📊 VPN’s American Clubs League - PS | Szn.30 | East Division 1 | Week 1 | Review 📰

1) Fifa 🎮🍺 Holicz (2 • 0) - Even though they loss in the eastern division title game last season, they've earned enough respect to be considered early title favorites again.

With a constant target on their back, they know to expect every teams best efforts each game.

The schedule makers handed out a Halloween treat early for the viewers. A rematch between the Szn.29 division finalist, Holicz & InFamous Ones.

It was a defensive battle but FHz found a way with one minute remaining in stoppage time.

A cross from Game7Bron found ExeTTV backpost but the ball bounced off his chest, to InFamous Ones CB — Puchis chest, and before he could control it, Ozil2k was there for the tap in game winning goal. In there second match they played against Nemesis and won 3-0.

💥 Week 1 Impact Players: Ozil_2k, Game7Bron, Exequiel, Evo21

2) Looney Goonz 🐷 (2 • 0) - For a team fresh off promotion to Division 1 theres no better way to announce your arrival than by getting two opening night victories.

One of their wins came from another newly promoted club — Lomas Del Este, who they beat 3-1, followed by a 2-1 win against Fusion FC.

💥 Week 1 Impact Players: jparra, iJack11, x-Lenglet, D_j2777, x-Salah, BajanBatman

3) DANZ (1 • 1 • 0) - They're not loaded with a bunch of big name players so whatever they lack in clout, they make up for it with well organized defensive tactics and counter attacking ability.

Leading the way for them is one of the most underrated strikers in the league — LuisitoEstrada, and his partner PelucheVz.

The pair contributed heavily in a 3-1 win vs Dreamteam XI and a game saving 1-1 draw vs Olympus.

Week 1 Impact Players: You guessed it. The aforementioned LuisitoEstrada & PelucheVz

4) Prolific ⚽ Futbol (1 • 1 • 0) - Retooled and ready to make a push for another title with the arrival of two key centerpieces.

Diamondz makes his way from Anonymous to control the backline for Prolific.

In attack, Chesco leaves the crazy train in El Paso to fill the void left by Mo-7's move up to play striker.

They passed their first test with a 2-0 win vs Fatal XI, but was held scoreless in the next match vs Muscle Sharks.

💥 Week 1 Impact Players: FraserCov, Mo7, Ammar, DoX

5) Olympus ⚔️ (1• 1 • 0) - Returning from a three season hiatus to a new landscape of competition will be a welcomed challenge for the four time cup winners.

Their first test of this season is Kingz XI. If you watched the Infamous vs Holicz match, this one was similar in a way that it was a "whoever scores first, wins" kind of game.

It was tough for both sides to create clear cut chances, but ElTigre found a way, by flying through the air to head home a cross in the fourty fourth minute.

As the saying goes, "you're most vulnerable right after you score" and this proved to be true. On the ensuing kickoff, Kingz Xl made a pass over the top, that was blocked at the edge of the box, then recovered, and quickly shot at what was an empty net, before DeAndre__Yedlin hustled back to make a goal line clearance save. Olympus went on to win 1-0 and draw 1-1 to DANZ in their second game.

💥 Week 1 Impact Players: Tigre, Logan, Leo, Moodz, Yedlin

6) World 🌎 Class (1 • 1 • 0) - Besides not losing, what's a better morale boost for your team other than beating the defending champions in one of your first two games to start the season?

Well, that's exactly what happened when World Class faced InFamous Ones in their second game of the night.

The Honduran strike duo — Dopee & Matatan put together a nice 1-2 combo that ended in a first time shot and goal for World Class. Prior to this game, they got a 1-1 draw vs Kingz XI.

💥 Week 1 Impact Players: Matatan, Dopee, Kiam, ErickHTX

7) Cosa Nostra United🕴️(1 • 1) - With some new and notable names joining the team, CNU have their eyes on the prize.

After missing out of finishing in the top eight last season, KidDro decided to upgrade his team in positions of need.

Luzcvndo & Sarkozy pairing with Jaytee up front. Cheeky_Vision to help control the midfield, and ImSavagerr to continue his growth as a CB with a lot of potential.

The new signee's didn't waste anytime making an impact.

With Luzcvndo scoring two goals, Sarkozy scoring one, and Cheeky providing two assist, they go on to win 3-2 vs Fusion FC. Unfortunately for them, they loss their other game 1-0 to Nemesis.

💥 Week 1 Impact Players: Luzcvndo, Chander19, Sarkozy, Cheeky,

8) Thunderducks 🦆 (1 • 1) - After a 1-0 win over Dreamteam XI, and 2-1 loss to Fatal XI, the ducks find themselves barely above (playoff line) water.

Five teams gained promotion to the first division of ACL this season. Two of them are currently in the top eight.

It'll be interesting to see where they end up after tonights games.

💥 Week 1 Impact Players: Brendaaan, pmflores, MONSTER-MK-9, Nico_ThePun1sheR

🔻 Honorable Mentions 🔻

9) Fatal XI 💀 (1 • 1) - You never know what version of this team is going to show up on matchdays.

They have the appeal to attract top talent but its what you do with it, that makes the difference.

Being only three seasons removed from their last ACL title, and a roster capable of competing with the best the league has to offer, this team should be a strong contender when its all said and done.

But for now, they have to rebound from a 2-0 lost to Prolific, and build on the 2-1 win they got from Dreamteam XI.

💥 Week 1 Impact Players: NDIDI, EL_B1CHOO, Ronaldo_Skills, Berserk

10) Nemesis XI 🐺 (1 • 1) - Scroll up and read the first two statements about Fatal XI again, because that also applies here.

They finished in tenth place last season and missed the playoffs.

For more irony, the last time they made the playoffs in ACL was the same season (27) Fatal won the title.

Fast forward to season (30) where they recently loss 3-0 to Holicz, and won 1-0 vs Cosa Nostra, and you still wont have a clear sense of what direction this team is going in.

💥 Week 1 Impact Players: ElTanke, Fergo69

12) Kingz XI 🦁 (0 • 1 • 1) - After losing to Olympus 1-0 and drawing 1-1 to World Class, "The Money Team" are off to a shaky start.

With that being said, they still have one of best rosters in the league, so it wouldn't be a reach to say that this team could stack up a lot of wins throughout the season, (IF) they can stay together.

When your starting lineup includes players like chrisrey, Alexis10, Gavin, Crazzy10, FearEsco, etc. you can expect at least a top eight finish + playoffs, right?

💥 Week 1 Impact Players: Andres7, chrisrey

15) InFamous Ones❓(0 • 2) - This is definitely the most eyebrow raising name on the list right now. Mainly because of the position their in.

For the champions, "heavy is the head that wears the crown". The team (FHz) they beat in the eastern conference title game (won the league prior to them) was their first match of this season.

They had to replace both starting CB's (FearZ & FearEsco) from that title team for different reasons, so until the new pieces gel together, we may continue to see them stumble a little bit.

IO has never been void of quality players, and I can't remember the last time I seen them start a ACL season winless.

Even though I wouldn't consider a 1-0 loss to Holicz and World Class reasons for them to be worried, but it does make me interested to see how they rebound from this.

💥 Week 1 Impact Players: Pogba-06

VPN ACL | Season 29 | East Division 1 | Midway Review | 📝

1) Fifa 🎮🍺 Holicz (9 • 4 • 1) - Team manager / key player "Game7Bron" was suspended for four games on Wednesday (due to a streaming violation) but the defending champs did not let that slow them down.

After a slight lineup adjustment, they were still able to get a win and a draw vs Cosa Nostra the next day.

Once the results around the eastern conference were tallied up, they had secured just enough points to keep them in the lead heading into the weekend.

This club is on a mission to win everything, everywhere they go. Just take a look around the pro clubs landscape and chances are you'll see their recent run of success.

2) Prolific Futbol (8 • 4 • 2) - Led by "Mo" & Amm..

wait—

If you're new to ACL then this might not hit the same. But for the players that been around VPN (on PS4) for more than a handful of seasons, this was definitely a eyebrow raising moment.

Following an announcement from the club legend & co-founder, that he was looking to join a west coast team, El Paso wasted no time and quickly swooped in to sign him.

With his departure leaving big boots to fill up front, the "M&M" duo, "Mo" (6) & "Mini" (5) opted to share the goal scoring responsibilities left behind by Ammar. As a team, their doing really well on both ends of the pitch. With a league leading 22 goals scored & the 2nd least amount of goals conceded.

On the outside looking in, this team didn't seem to have many weakness's. With their most recent signings being forwards, Gavin & Yusuf.

Will this be a strong gets stronger situation? Or just toxic? I'm not sure, but it's going to be entertaining either way. 🍿

3) Inform Maestros (8 • 4 • 2) - After a rough start to the season in which they loss to Nemesis & InFamous on opening night, there were reports of tempers flairing in the locker room after the match.

Since the season started on a Thursday, they had four days to sort things out before they were tested again by FHz.

Ironically, the same players involved in the dustup would be the same players to connect on the game winning play to give Holicz their only loss right now.

In hindsight, it was a springboard for things to come, as they would link up again a couple games later to take down Prolific, on their way to a current three week unbeaten streak that featured a, FHz - (W) Class XI - (D) PFC - (W) Fusion - (D) Proven - (W) Danz - (W) Acl Paris - (W) Fatal - (W) Fatal - (D)

4) InFamous Ones (8 • 2 • 4) - To my surprise, has only two wins against the top eight (playoff eligible) teams right now. They also conceded more goals than the top five teams in either conference. If you were to tell me a defense that had "Fear Z, Ramos & Runhiss" would be giving up a goal per game, I would not have believed you.

The analytics say, "IO is good offensively, but susceptible on defense".
The eye test say, "IO is fu***ng loaded with some of the best players in the league".

With all that being said, my conclusion is simple. This team has more than enough talent in goal, on defense, in midfield, and in attack, to beat anyone.

It appeared Thiago's preseason move to Anonymous was a done deal but something changed shortly after AXI announced the signing. It would've been the 2nd biggest preseason transfer, on par with the martians move to El Paso, just not as surprising, if you're familiar with the two clubs connections to each other. Fast forward a few weeks later, now he's facilitating the 2nd best offense in the east, flanked by Chris Rey, Bryan & Alexis.

5) World Class FC (6 • 4 • 4) - When I look at their roster I see a lot of good players. "Dope" being at the forefront was expected but that hasn't been the case in the first half of this season. His numbers are way below what we're use to seeing from him. With only 1 goal and 3 assist in 13 games, I don't see them continuing this midfield experiment into the latter parts of the season.

If this club doesn't have the ideal CAM on their roster so "Dope" can move back to ST, they should be very active in the transfer window trying to find one.

When you have one of the best goal scorers in the league on your team, you have to put him in position to do what he does best.

SCORE.

I'm sure there's a respectable reason why he's playing CAM this season, I just don't know what it is.

6) Fatal XI (5 • 6 • 3) - They'll be coming off of a tough five game stretch where they picked up only three points: Class XI - (D) Paris - (D) PFC - (L) IFM - (L) IFM - (D)

This club has one of the best attacking trio's in the league and they'll need more goal scoring from them in the immediate future.

The 7th/8th/9th/&10th place teams are within five points of catching them.

Fatal has to get a win soon to avoid falling below the playoff line. That may be easier said than done, with their next three matches being away , home vs Paris, and away .

Depending on the results, how they emerge from this three game gauntlet could boost team morale tremendously or it could send them on a downward spiral.

7) Acl🗼Paris (5 • 5 • 4) - The underrated "Kawura" is leading his team and the eastern conference in scoring with 11 goals. If they expect to avoid a first round exit or missing the playoffs all together, they're gonna need others around him to step up.

With that in mind, the Paris managers went out and signed "Trillz" a couple days ago to help bolster the attack. So whenever Kozy decides to wake up, those three could do some real damage up front.

The silverlining I see in this team is they've only loss to 2 of the top 10 teams in the east. Inform & Holicz. Which shows me that they can challenge anyone above them in the standings. And with a opportunity for revenge against Inform Maestros coming up on Tuesday, they'll have some added incentive to start this week with a win.

8) DANZ Esports (6 • 1 • 7) - Known for their "Mourinho-esque" style of defensive counter attacking, this team forces their opponents to over extend for goals and that's how they get you.

With some battle tested veterans like Nino2Real, ibanez, leopascal, darkstuff and Luis on the roster, dont be shocked if you see this team getting wins against some of the bigger name clubs.

They've only been in Division 1 since season 27, and that was also the first and last time they been to the playoffs. After maxing out as a 6th seed, in season 28, they finished in 12th place missing the playoffs completely. Now (in season 29) they're currently 3pts out of 5th with a chance to put some distance between them and the closest three teams.

9) Nemesis Gaming 10) Fusion FC & 11) Proven Futbol are all within four points reach of that last playoff spot.
