In 1862, President Lincoln issued the Emancipation Proclamation, an order that abolished slavery and proclaimed all slaves were to be set free. While this was a monumental event, the news was slow to make its way to the Southern states.
Since this day saw the Emancipation Proclamation reach the entire nation, June 19 became the official day of celebration! A year later, it became known as "Juneteenth." Talk about fear of missing out 😬 Follow us to make sure you’re not missing out either

A le***an is a woman whose enduring physical, romantic, and/or emotional attraction is to other women. Some women may refer to themselves as gay or a gay women //( Definition from The Center )

Gay is typically used as an umbrella term to refer to someone who has an attraction to a s*x that may not be their own no matter their gender.

As pride continues on, remember your identity is valid and s*xuality is a spectrum! Labels may be present but they are not mandatory!
