Hey all! Been a bit since my last post but I wanted to give an update about the channel and make a call to action. We are 7 followers away from the 50 follower goal! So if anyone who follows this page hasn't gone over to my twitch channel yet and given it a follow please do so, every little bit helps. Or if you know someone who likes the games I stream (Final Fantasy XIV, Path of Exile, and Coral Island) please let them know about my channel and send them my way. Haven't been posting here in a bit, but I've been burning the midnight oil as it were streaming as often as I can. We're up to 27 followers and getting more views every week, so it's going really well. If anyone who is a follower of this page hasn't given a follow over on the twitch channel please consider heading over and doing that. Every little bit helps me get closer to being an affiliate and that means being able to accept subscriptions and donations to keep the work going. I stream a variety of content but mostly focused on Final Fantasy XIV and the RPG genre in general. If you're not yet a follower of either this page or the twitch channel please consider both. There is a Discord which is located in the about section of my twitch channel, so if you would like to help see this community grow head on over and throw a follow on the channel and consider joining the Discord.

In other news today I would normally stream Coral Island but I woke up a tad late but instead I may do some more FFXIV progression this time with my healer friend who hasn't done any of the content yet. The week ahead should look like this though:

Oof! 2022 was not a good year for me as a creative individual. Stress, depression, and the 9-5 grind really sapped a lot out of me. Well that's about to be a thing of the past since the State decided not to continue funding the project contract I was working on, so as of Friday February 3, 2023 at 4:30PM PST I will no longer have a 9-5 job. The agency I work for is looking for similar work from home opportunities for me so that I can retain my insurance, but I'll likely have to be on unemployment for a bit. In the meantime I can use this time to get back to what I like and love.

To that end I invite everyone to join me once again over on twitch.tv/geekilyyours Friday evening at 6:00PM PST for some streaming fun. I'll be streaming for two hours and will likely play some Disgea PC and maybe something else. Hope to see you all there!

Hey everyone! Quick update on the YouTube projects.

Night Cascades: I was planning on starting the recording of this series today but I'm a little worn out from work and the thought of putting my recording setup back together right now is a little daunting. Instead I will get my setup put back together over the next few days and then start my first recording of this on Friday after work so the video will be available on Saturday 3/5/2022. Updates to the series will happen as I have time to do them, but I'm going to try not to have more than a week (7 days) between each episode.

A Tale of Light and Dark: I'm still not sure how to do this effectively and right now it is still in the planning stages for how to progress and film each part I would need to stitch it together as a continuous story. It may end up as a more traditional playthrough series if I can't figure out a better solution, but I will still plan a specific route through the game to give a good sense of progression and relevant story.

Hey Geeks! Game Stream coming up tomorrow afternoon. I haven't decided on anything specific just yet so it will likely be more Grim Dawn, but we can discuss what games I haven't played from my library that might be fun to stream going forward. As always any time I get a new or popular game I will stream those when I have time to depending on if we are in the middle of another game or not. Lastly when Endwalker is available we will be streaming that and I will stream the entirety of the story as it unfolds.

Heya all! Just a quick note that we will be getting back to streaming soon. I will be streaming art Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays and streaming games Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. The times of the streams may vary as I have an hourly job as well so please bare with me while I get everything settled. Also I will likely be switching from streaming on Twitch to streaming on my YouTube channel, haven't used it since I made it but that's kinda one of the reasons for the switch. Hey all. I really did mean to stream my progress through Mass Effect Legendary because the new engine update allowed me to make a real badass FemShep. However that hasn't worked out...I legit can't stop playing. I'll have to think of something for stream later. ❤
