Although March 8 is a reminder of the progress we have made it also serves as a call to action for the work that still lies ahead in overcoming systemic challenges and barriers to equality. In the face of adversity, we can draw strength from the women who have broken barriers to pave the way for us and be inspired commit ourselves to creating a better future for women and girls around the world. This is to inform everyone about the unfortunate decision to postpone "Literomania 3.0 Carnival of Creativity", which was originally scheduled to take place on 2nd and 3rd December 2023.

Regrettably, the current political situations and unrest in the country have compelled us to reconsider the timing of the event. The safety and well-being of our participants, and attendees are of utmost importance, and given the unpredictable nature of the circumstances, we believe it is in the best interest of everyone involved to postpone the event.

We understand the anticipation and excitement surrounding Literomania 3.0, and we share in the disappointment caused by this decision. However, we are committed to delivering a successful and secure event, and rescheduling will allow us to ensure a positive experience for all.

Thank you for your patience and continued enthusiasm for Literomania 3.0. We look forward to bringing you an exceptional literary experience once the circumstances permit.

The event was one of its kind in the school circuit and has enabled students, from grades 7 to 12, to showcase their abilities and knowledge regarding real-world corporate and financial challenges. The future leaders of finance have truly shone through, displaying their prowess in navigating the complex world of economics and accounting. We are pleased to inform you that after much deliberation and carefully looking through the overwhelming number of applications we got, we have chosen the following individuals to represent our club as Executive Committee members for the academic year 2023-24 based on their contribution to the club and the rigor of applications.

We, executive committee members, are profoundly disturbed and shocked by the coming to light of several allegations of sexual harassment, threatening victims, abuse of power and coercion against Kaushik Sarkar, a recent Batch-23 graduate of Mastermind English Medium School. Having confirmed the veracity of those accusations, Mastermind Newsletter Club is left with no choice except to condemn his actions in the strongest of terms.

The upliftment of our student body - that is the sole goal of the clubs at this distinguished institution of ours.
We have always aimed to create fun-filled, healthy spaces that reflect and promote the students' interests, hobbies, and aspirations.

It is with great shame that we say that Kaushik Sarkar's conduct has violated each and every one of our principles and stands against everything that we aim to be.

To the victims, we offer our condolences. We admire the courage they have shown in speaking out against the injustices they have suffered. To those who helped shed light on the matter, we extend our gratitude for standing up for what is right.

We ardently hope that these incidents remain the last of their kind to involve the students of our school. At the same time, we pray that justice be served to those who deserve it, here and everywhere else.

Currently, the executive committee members are taking necessary steps to ensure a safer, more welcoming environment.

Inktober. Literomania. And finally an imminent yearbook.

For the past session, this was MMNLC in a nutshell. After a successful and momentous year full of events and activities, the time has finally come to hand over the club to the next batch.

With such a talented pool of ambitious and driven people, it was a really difficult decision for us to select the Executive Committee members for the 2022-23 session. But here they are at last, the new torchbearers of the newsletter club!

The Mastermind Newsletter Club and Mastermind Times are thrilled to present InkTober! A challenge that will last the entire month of October. InkTober wishes to encourage you to showcase your talent for the arts by writing and drawing to fulfill your imaginations. There will be four sections: - Junior: classes 3 and 4 - Elementary: classes 5 to 7 - Middle: classes 8 to 10 - Senior: classes 11 and 12. Ten themes will be given and for each theme you can either write a short story, a poem or draw something accordingly. You are allowed to present ten of your best work for the ten themes by the 15th of October. From the 20th to 31st October, The Mastermind Times page will feature at least two of the best works for each category from both branches, depending on the number of submission. So keep your eyes on The Mastermind Times pages and good luck!
