Hey hey, everyone. Quick update.

So as many of you are aware from my personal page, we're still in the midst of moving the rest of my family out here to our new apartment. Once that is situated, I'll be working with everybody on how to go forward. I still want to run a weekly stream, and things were going well until very recently when personal crap hit the fan.

I neglected to post an alert here that I was live. That's my bad. The best way to get these alerts though is to follow me on Twitch.

I'll try to be more mindful in the future. Especially with the campaign being so critical right now. It's such a privilege to be partnering with Children's Miracle Network. With the concerns surrounding the Corona Virus, it's paramount that disadvantaged kids have access to intensive care and other healthcare services.

Poking around, I find that Twitch has the best integration for the needs I have for the upcoming Extra Life event. There's even integration on my Extra Life page. That settles that; I found my host. Funny thing is, I've been working on it all along for initial tests.

I'm running a live test sometime this week to see how things are operating and what to expect for game performance. I'm also going to toy with some of the settings so the retro games look as good as possible. I'll advise at least 24 hours before broadcast. Let everyone know, and I'll see you on Twitch.

Well, from the looks of it, I may not be able to get any direct console gaming off the ground on account of not having the requisite equipment (capture card and TV). However, I found a repository of old emulators that I can bring up and run for the Extra Life Marathon. We're talking stuff from my childhood; NES and SNES era titles. At least I can find several kid-friendly games there. And with the right know-how, I could feasibly set up a 2-player game over the Internet.

Let me know in the comments what you would like to see on the stream. And tell your friends! Share this or my Extra Life page! That's what helps the kids the most!

Remember, this is for kids' programs at a major kids' hospital. Your donation dollars go to help fund actual treatments. Let's get them as much help as we can.

I've built this page using my old Guild Wars 1 avatar to separate me and my efforts .

I'm proud to announce the plans upcoming for the Extra Life 2019 Fundraising stream.

Benefits will go directly to Intermountain Foundation Primary Children's Hospital, my new local Children's Miracle Network hospital in Salt Lake City, UT.
