I know you’ve seen some of these photos before, but I just wanted to share a little throwback story - this is Dan and Marley. I met them at this shoot, they were the primary models at this styled shoot hosted by Photos Ní MaryJo and let me tell you - if you’re working with a models for a styled shoot, there is nothing better than models who are a couple ✨ IRL ✨ the love and the chemistry between these two is palpable!

They have since become some sweet friends of mine, and I love every chance I get to work with them, so here’s a Dan and Marley appreciation post 🤩🤩🤩

I wanted to take a minute and share my heart about something I noticed today while working an event.

Kiddos would happily climb on the hay bales of the Photo Booth and sit for their photos, then I would turn to their mamas and tell them to go sit with them for a picture. More mamas than I can could said some variation of, “Oh no, I don’t look that good today.“

I said to each and every one of those mamas, “How often do you get to be in the photo?” And every. single. one - said the same thing. “Never.”

I know you mama, because I am you.

99% of those mamas marched over and sat with their babies for a picture.

Husbands, boyfriends, wives, girlfriends, partners, co-parents - If you’re reading this, and there’s a mama in your life that you love and want to bless this holiday season - gift her a family photo session.

This isn’t a money grab to get you to book with me. Find her favorite photographer *yes, she has one - check who she’s following on Instagram* and book them.

Give her the gift of being in the photos for once.

Then help her get the kids ready, and show up with a smile, ready to bless her.

It’s 30-60 minutes of your time, and a deep well of memories for her to cherish.

Momming is hard.
