A minister of the Gospel
A photographer
A dog mom
And a hairstylist!

It’s quite the list, but I sure do love it. I’m blessed to have the support from family and friends to take a leap of faith and share this passion of mine with the world!

I’m a photographer who is passionate about empowering individuals. I love working with families and capturing wholesome moments between them, as well as the special milestones in a couple’s love story. But my true passion lies in helping people see their own worth and beauty, just as they are.

In a world where we are constantly told to measure our value by external standards—whether it’s our appearance, accomplishments, or possessions—I believe in shifting that perspective. I hold firmly to the idea that our worth comes from something far deeper, something that cannot be defined by superficial metrics.

If nothing ever changed about our clothing or our weight, we all, from the thinnest to the thickest, have so much value in this world.

You, my darling, we’re made in God’s image. You, my darling, are a child of the King. No measuring tape can ever define your worth, because your worth comes from A God who loves you.

To some it may seem weird to blend my faith and my art in this way, especially when a lot of my work is bo***ir - but that’s the fun part. Helping women to break out of what society has deemed acceptable for women and wives. You are fierce. The same God that called Deborah to judge a nation, and gave Jael the strength to take out an oppressive force - made you. He made me. He gave each and every one of us a calling and a passion. Sometimes we need to step outside of our daily norm to be reminded of that.

This is my passion. This is why I do what I do. This is part of who I am.

Baby Roberts will be arriving on Thursday, via c-section, so I will be taking 2 weeks off from ALL the things, including responding to messages, and about 6 weeks off from sessions!

A most weddings do, the day went a little different than anyone anticipated, but we rolled with the punches and worked together to make sure the bride and groom had a beautiful day, and beautiful photos to treasure forever! MJ absolutely knocked it out of the park!

I love weddings, and family sessions, and branding sessions, but it’s my absolute FAVORITE thing to run around on Sunday mornings serving on the creative media team at and sometimes I get to run around with cool cats…er… bunnies too 😂😂😂

Just another day in the life of your local photographer that struggles with crippling social anxiety!

I took this while trying to hype myself up through a mild anxiety attack before heading to meet some clients for a shoot!

I’ve worked with these clients before, and I LOVE them, but anxiety is as anxiety does. That gal will hit ya outta nowhere with no real reason either.

Sometimes you have to just do the things anyways. Sometimes you have to tell the brain weasels who’s boss and push through.

Learn the difference between your gut feelings and the chemical balances your brain deals with. I trust my gut, she’s never wrong, but anxiety is a liar that must be put in her place!

So here’s what I did tonight to fight through the anxiety attack. Maybe this will work for you, maybe it won’t, but I’m gonna share my process.

1. I took meds. I have low dose, non habit forming anxiety meds that help so much. I also use a natural supplement when I don’t need to call in the big guns (Ashwagandha, if you’re interested in the natural stuff!)
2. I took a moment to pray. It was quick. Nothing fancy. Just a simple, “Lord help me through this”. I invited God to meet me where I was. He’s a gentleman and often won’t just intrude… He waits for us to ask, so I asked.
3. I looked at myself in the mirror and reminded myself that I’m an intelligent, professional woman. I am not an imposter.
4. I kissed my husband.
5. I put on worship music on my drive.
6. I called my mom.

By the time I arrived on location, my nerves were calm and I was back to myself - ready to joke around, keep it light, and have a great shoot!
