Schindler's List is a 1993 epic, historical war drama that chronicles the true story of the heroic Oskar Schindler, who saved thousands of Jewish lives during the Holocaust.
Drenched with captivating performances, emotional scenes, and breathtaking direction, the film is truly a masterpiece that could rival an entire museum of Leonardo da Vinci.
Of the hundreds upon hundreds of cast members, this film is completely void of dull performances. Each actor/actress genuinely embodied their character and significantly contributed to the beauty of this movie. Liam Neeson's dramatic portrayal of Schindler, and Ben Kingsley's flawless performance as Itzhak Stern, should have won them Oscars. Ralph Fiennes's ruthless portrayal of Amon Goeth was also award-worthy.
This movie contains some of the most heartfelt, tragic and emotional scenes I have ever watched. Liam Neeson's tearful regrets over not saving more people brought me to tears, myself. The closing scene was extremely moving and powerful as well.
