Unlike in Europe and North America where performing artistes are generously rewarded for their creativity, talent and efforts and where there are stringent laws and mechanisms of protecting copyright, Kenyan artistes are underpaid, exploited and stolen from.

Conman Raila Odinga, Gladys Wanga and Fidel Odinga never paid Lady Maureen a red cent for commissioning tunes Lady Maureen released for them. The promoters and producers of her numerous music have never remitted royalties to her. Conman Raila Odinga: Pay Lady Maureen her dues!
