After the Eclipse!!
With oil and gas prices skyrocketing, why can’t the US get more oil, and gas from Canada?

First o all, the USA does not get oil from anyone. Private gas companies get oil from places. Why do they not get more? They don't need more. The USA has enough oil for its needs. In fact, the USA is the single largest oil-producer in the world, surpassing even Saudi-Arabia. The fuel prices rise because they are rising globally, not just in the US. As a result, those same oil and gas companies make more money by exporting the oil, rather than selling it in the US.
