How it be feeling when your clients get REAL RESULTS! 💥 What results might you ask? Well, have a little squizz if ya feeling nosey 😉

These legends came to us needing some help with their Google Ads. After being burnt by a previous agency, they were a little nervous to dive in with a new one but I was pretty confident I could get them better results and boy did I 🙌🏼

With 3 brand new ad campaigns created & optimised, our client went from a CPC (cost per click for those not down with the lingo) of $1.77 CPC to only 80c CPC. We also increased their conversions from 10.7% to 22.3% 🚀. We decreased their daily ad spend by scheduling the ads to display during peak customer search time and we just checked on this month's sales so far... THEY ARE UP 1546% ON LAST MONTH 😱 (ps, that is net sales too, not gross so more profit in this man's pocket... or more money towards the staff Christmas party. This man really loves his team so I wouldn't be surprised if it's the latter).

Anywho, the moral of the story is Ads are meant to make you more money. And if your ads aren't... maybe turn them off and collaborate with a legend who knows how to optimise your campaigns *cough - hi - cough*. If that isn't in your budget, scour Youtube, blogs, reels etc for tips & tricks to help your ads perform better. And PLEASE DON'T SET AND FORGET!! Schedule some reminders in your phone to jump in and check on your ads every 3-4 days!

Ps, I came with receipts. Swipe for the overview of when this client first came to us and the last 30 days overview (ps, we are spending $100 less on ads per week than we were when I was first engaged with my client 😎)

Holy Guac-a-mole it’s Guacamole Day already! I personally LOVE guacamole. If I’m eating it out, my fav is definitely but if I’m enjoying it at home, here’s my fav recipe 🤤🤤

You’ll need:
🥑 2 ripe avocados
🧅 1/2 a small red onion finely diced
🍅 1 tomato diced
🌱2 tablespoons of freshly diced coriander
🌶️ 1/4 of cup of sliced jalapeños
🧄 1 teaspoon of fresh minced garlic
🍋‍🟩 1 lime (juiced) - I also grate in some zest!
🧂Good crack of sea salt and pepper

Mash her all up together and grab yourself some corn chips and ENJOY 🎊

No for real… my very first job was working in a Wendy’s Kiosk in the Whitsundays at the ripe age of 12. That’s where my boss at the time (Leonie - she’s the real MVP) taught me everything I knew about being hospitable, customer service and the importance of the customer journey. So it legit started making hot dogs 😂🌭 (…and I did it for over 5 years across 4 different Wendy stores… so you could say I’m an ice cream scooping veteran 🍦)

Marketing goes wayyyyy further than what you post on your socials. A lot of the time, it can start with the people working or representing your brand. The tone of voice in the copy on your website. Even down to the texture of the tags on your retail items. Start looking at every aspect of your business. Not just your product/service and your socials 💥

You might be looking at this months sales and thinking ‘what the’… how come they have dropped?! Well, you aren’t the only venue feeling the squeeze of the current economy. Consumers have just done their tax returns. They’ve seen the money they’ve made this year and made the promise to themselves to cook at home more and save on coffee by drinking the free sachets at work 🥴

But June/July is a common period for hospitality owners to see a small dip in biz! So what should you do whilst you wait out the dip? EDUCATE! Start consuming the free resources online with concepts, ideas and themes you could implement in your venue.

Do an audit of your own venue. Are your SOP’s up to scratch? Are you happy with your marketing? Have you taken a look at your COGS? How are you serving and providing to your regulars who are coming in everyday to make them feel appreciated? 🤔

Doing some work now and tweaking your menu or efficiency could result in extra $$ when we fall back into our busy periods! It’s time to get clever and hang in there 😘

By cleaning up our follower lists, we can boost our engagement and ensure we’re connecting with real, genuine followers who are truly interested in our content and visiting our venue! This means better interaction, more meaningful connections, and ultimately, a stronger online presence for our venues.

Here’s how you can use this feature:

1. Go to your followers list.
2. Go into flagged.
3. Click the ‘Remove All’ button or individually review and remove by clicking ‘Remove’ next to their names.

Alcohol delivery is now available across the state for 18 BWS stores on DoorDash. What does this mean for you and your venue? We can see a large increase of dining at home and more consumers utilising these delivery partners. Hours in the day are becoming less for consumers as time in traffic increases, energy levels decrease and ordering takeout becomes more convenient. Have you considered looking into delivery partners or organising your own online ordering for pickup/takeaway?

Mind boggled over why some people are willing to drive over an hour for an iced drink? Here’s our theory on why the Iced Strawberry Matcha Latte is going viral👇🏼

🍓 It’s photogenic - the contrast of the stark strawberry and earthy green are appealing to look at and photograph (add to feed 😍)
🍓 It’s rare - well rare-ish. Not every cafe/restaurant is going to be serving up an iced strawbs matcha and therefore people are experiencing FOMO by not having had the chance to try it yet! Maccas still don’t have it on their frappe menu yet!
🍓Boosting your social status - not only is it a rare drink, but it’s kinda pricy too! Most of the time, the most affordable strawbs matcha is coming in around $7.50! So opening the purse for a drink you mightn’t like is a ballsy move with the tight penny pinching in the economy at the moment!

Creating shareable beverages and jumping on trends can really help your biz become a tiktok hot spot! Just make sure you price them accordingly to help with those profit margins! 🔥
