National Technology Day (1/6) A salute to those brave souls who always went first with the tech toys. The funny smelling mimeograph, a bag phone, desk sized fax machines, the early blackberry, 12 pound laptops, power bricks, cables, the clunky stuff with all the problems that they would not have traded for the world. It all started about 2 million years ago with that stone hand axe, with a few boomer things along the way.

Lots of companies and services shouting how they're having the biggest sale…EVER. Just a reminder, while a low sale price may have appeal, in many cases, it's a slippery proposition. "Price is what you pay, value is what you get!" I think Warren Buffet went bananas with that thought.
