Don't miss this week's Rear View Insights podcast

Nationally recognized Life Coach, Lisa Kramer, discusses how to use your "Internal Guidance System" to better assess your decisions.

We discuss:

1. How do I establish an “internal guidance system” to make better decisions?

This is a system that guides your decision-making—an inner IGS. Whether you are making small or big decisions, your IGS is all about tapping into your intuition.

2. We review the fear factor that is associated with making decisions and how to address the "Fear of Fear".

There are many decisions you will make, particularly big ones, where you just cannot avoid feeling fearful. However, you need to resist letting that fear stop you from pulling the trigger and following through on your resolution.

3. And, how do I become comfortable with discomfort?

Even if the outcome of the decision is not exactly what you hoped for? There are always learning opportunities to grow as a person. On the other hand, giving in to fear and not making a decision will keep you stuck in place and stagnate your growth. Always remember that discomfort comes with the territory.

This is a discussion you do not want to miss.

Tune in to this week's Rear View Mirror episode, where Michelle Adams, founder & President of Brainiology a cutting-edge Neuroscience research company, talks about her decision-making framework.

She makes a case for leaning on your natural strengths and the things that give you energy and simply taking the plunge when making big, career-defining choices.

We discuss:
Know your towering strengths. Michelle’s decision-making criteria are based heavily on Marcus Buckingham’s StrengthsFinder tool.

Sometimes, all you can do is take a leap of faith based on calculated risks. Making a decision as life-changing as going into business after a decade or two in the corporate world is grounded in many factors; but more often than not, the choice to make these decisions are ultimately based on faith.

When making decisions, it’s really important to have a network surrounding you. If you have a big career goal (or any type of big goal, for that matter), it pays to immerse yourself among people that support those goals.

A conversation that will have you thinking about your decision-making process.

Hope Everybody had a wonderful Christmas!

This week, the podcast, Insights Through the Rear View Mirror, is talking with lawyer John Bouman about the decision framework that took him from being a storefront lawyer in Chicago to becoming one of the leading public interest, multi-issue and policy lawyers in the country.

Mr. Bouman shares how he reaches people’s hearts and not just their minds when getting his vision heard?

There are few places that require more skill in negotiation and thicker skin than the political sphere. John, a public interest lawyer with over four decades of experience, shares how he makes decisions that affect entire communities—and potentially the entire country—and does so navigating a profession where conflict and adversity among different parties is his day-to-day reality.

We address:
What is the best way to reach consensus among my peers?
How can I get skeptics to embrace my idea?
