It's the penultimate episode of the season, and GoT rules apply...this one's a DOOZY!

Tangents include...honestly, there weren't too many tangential discussions unrelated to the movie, because this movie is A LOT (in the very best way!), and guest London St Juniper has a metric buttload of PhD-level insight to offer in her discussion with a sleep-deprived-and-slightly-dumbfounded Lyndsay.

MAJOR CW: discussion of su***de, murder, mental illness, emotional abuse, toxic relationships, mortality...if you've seen the movie, you know. If you haven't, STRONGLY RECOMMEND watching before listening, but proceed with caution.

MINOR CW: Lyndsay makes a lot more weird gutteral noises in this episode than usual (Deal with it. -Lyndsay)

Dropping this Friday, Lyndsay celebrates Midsommar with London St. Juniper.

When she was eight years old Alvin Schwartz scared London senseless. It was love at first fright. Despite a lingering fear of scarecrows (and the dark), London pursued her infatuation with creeps and creatures all the way to a PhD in gothic literature, and takes great joy in performing increasingly gory burlesque acts. You can see her spill her guts at the World Oddities Expo in Baltimore on Saturday, October 30: http://woetothee.com/

A new episode is waiting for you right inside this neat lil' puzzle box!

Tangents include Popeye (the movie), unappealing English s*x scenes, and Lyndsay's persistent assertion that this movie is "darkest-timeline Labyrinth".

CW: Lyndsay misremembers several particulars of the "pleasure toast" scene from The Venture Bros; she also says "aesthetics" instead of "prosthetics" at one point (I KNOW THE DIFFERENCE SHUT UP! -Lyndsay)

Tangents include getting hype for "fall calories", the cinematic evolution of zombies, and Pinterest-worthy Molotov cocktails.

CW: Lyndsay gets the math wrong on her mom's birthday- this came out *16* days before, not "two weeks" before (It's not because I don't know my mom's birthday, it's just because I'm bad at math! -Lyndsay)
