Let’s wash a washable rug…
You’ve all seen them advertised and they are pretty! So I finally put one to the test! This particular rug from @lahomeofficial has been in our entry from the garage for well over a year. Can you say dirty! It took a beating from muddy spring days to dogs coming in from the garage from outside.
So I thought it was time to wash it! 😆
Well I am impressed - the end result was pretty clean! With no shrinkage and it laid completely flat! It looks great! 🙌

Want to elevate your lamps? It’s easy!
I’ve been eyeing those expensive pretty pottery look lamps online and in stores.
I popped into my local @athomestores today and picked up this textured white lamp and decided to transform it with a little decorative wax in dark antique.
Using a soft cloth I just started rubbing it on lightly, using more wax to add some darker spots. Seriously it took me 5 min!
It compliments my decor perfectly and looks like an expensive lamp! 🙌

💞💞 But good friendships can help and that’s why I’ve joined a great group of gals today to celebrate Galentines Day!
I really don’t have much decor for the big ❤️day. We do try to celebrate with a dinner in or out, but it’s not a big decor theme for me.
However, this year we will be in Maui 🌴 and already have dinner reservations for the 14th with friends - so there’s that!!

I never really appreciated this…
The real beauty of Christmas, the imperfect little Christmas tree, the one bulb out on the house roof lights of the neighbors, all the timeless Christmas music by beloved artists now gone. It’s really all just so wondrous, heartwarming and such a gift of winter.
