This week we have one of the most important members of the ski community: Phil Belanger. Phil first came on the scene as one of the “Three Phils” revolutionizing the sport and guiding the way for the new generation. We’re talking some real Old Head history here: inventing grabs, new rotations, THE FIRST SKIER TO HIT THE RED LEDGE. Phil is an integral piece of foundation that the rest of the sport is built on. Apart from his impact as an athlete, Phil also started his own production company Pléhouse Films, has been running D-Structure for 20+ years, and has created a pipeline for participation in the spot with the Step Up Freeski Tour.

If you’ve watched any competition in the past few years, there’s a good chance that Colby has been on the podium. With medals at X Games, Dew Tour, the Olympics, and whatever those FIS events in Europe are, Colby is a competitive powerhouse. Buckle up for our longest episode of the season with Olympic Gold Medalist and Co-Founder of SLVSH: Joss Christensen. The first half of this episode goes through Joss’ career and the dramatic story of winning Gold in Slopestyle at the 2014 Sochi Olympics. The second half of the episode focuses on Joss’s recent ventures including the story of the creation of SLVSH, the transformation it has undergone in recent years, and the future vision for the company. Plus some good Jib League talk thrown in there. Iberg gets hammered in this one!

If the phrase “do more” was a person it would be Chris Benchetler. Chris is a renowned professional skier and creative filmmaker based out of Mammoth Lakes, CA that has been part of some of the biggest projects in skiing.

With possibly the longest resume in skiing, some of Chris’ contributions to skiing include: co-founding Nimbus with Eric Pollard, Pep Fujas, and Andy Mahre; designed the topsheet for his Atomic’s Bent Chetler pro model; collaborated with his wife, pro snowboarder Kimmy Fasani, surfer Rob Machado, pro skier Michelle Parker, and pro snowboarders Jeremy Jones and Danny Davis to create “Fire On The Mountain” (an award-winning film, narrated by the late Hall of Fame basketball player Bill Walton); and much more!
