We took home a huge number of awards at the Knucklebuster Ceremony on Friday! The below individuals all won at the MXG-level, except for the "Knucklebuster" category winners who were selected only at the squadron level as based on voting by peers. Congrats to MSgt Michelle Jackson, who was recently selected for promotion to Senior Master Sergeant! Not pictured is MSgt David Morgan, who was also selected for promotion and earned his stripe while in MXS. Both members were serving as squadron Production Superintendents at the time they met their board.

SMSgt is the hardest rank to make in the enlisted force and we could not be more proud of those two outstanding SNCOs!!

Congratulations to SrA Malachi Ward from Munitions Flight who was recognized at last night’s 76ers game with the “Military Salute of the Game”!

SrA Ward is a fine choice for this recognition and a great example of the fantastic Airmen we have serving in our ranks!

Unfortunately, two weeks ago, our squadron lost one of our own - SrA Melanie S. Locklear. Below is her obituary. If you are interested in contributing to a memorial fund or purchasing a tree in her name, there are details included on the obituary page.

This past Wednesday, Melanie las laid to rest with full military honors near her hometown of Cochrane, WI. A military-led memorial service will be held for her at JB MDL in the near future. More details to follow.

Melanie is deeply missed by those who knew her and she will be remembered for her wit and love of the outdoors. The entire squadron grieves with her friends and family.
