When you post a video, it gets tested out by a small group of your followers and people who have never seen your content before, but the algorithm thinks it will like your videos.
From there, your success is determined by two things, watch time and engagement.
The algorithm loves watch time because the longer you watch a video, the longer youāre on the platform and the more ads it can show you.
So therefore, the more money they make.
If your videos are watched for long enough, the algorithm continues to push your videos out even more.
And if not, youāre stuck in low view jail, but you might be saved by high engagement on your videos.
This could come from comments, shares or saves when your video is sent out to that first batch of test viewers.
