God will set up His unconquerable Kingdom amid the world's attempt to establish its new world order. The prophet prophesied eons ago when he said, "In the time of those kings, the God of heaven will set up a kingdom that will never be destroyed, nor will it be left to another people. It will crush all those kingdoms and bring them to an end, but it will itself endure forever." Daniel 2:44 (NIV). What an exercise in futility! The writer of Hebrews presents to all of us an enthralling image of God's kingdom.

Heavenly Father, help me to be mindful of how I stand lest I falter and miss the mark. Please let me know the uptake and reduction of my value are tied to our master. The crux of the masters is brought to the fore when You warn us we cannot serve money and God because, as You have made clear, we will end up hating one and loving the other. Your Word tells us in James 1:8, “A person is double-minded and unstable in all they do.” (NIV). So help me be resolute in Jesus’s name, amen.
