About a month ago, we got an official announcement from Universal Destinations & Experiences with a brief overview of their new park coming in 2025, Epic Universe! This new park will consist of 5 uniquely immersive lands, starting with

💫 Celestial Park

Beautifully designed rolling gardens and waterways allowing guests to “Journey between Celestial Worlds”🌙

The 4 additional lands are:

🐉- How to Train Your Dragon: Isle of Berk

🍄- Super Nintendo World

⚡️- The Wizarding World of Harry Potter: Ministry of Magic

🔮- Dark Universe

Personally, I’m soo excited for Dark Universe! I love the Classic Universal Monsters, so to be able to be not only in an immersive land but to have multiple attractions involving these iconic characters is going to be amazing!! 🧛🏻‍♂️

✨This Must Be… POP!✨

Let’s check into Disney’s POP Century Resort! This is honestly one of my favorite resorts, here at Walt Disney World! 🩵

This is a Value Resort, so it’s going to be great on a budget. All of these rooms have been recently renovated featuring a queen bed, a queen sized Murphy bed converting into a dining area during the day, a modern clean line design, and ample storage space.

But the main draw to this resort is definitely access to the Disney Skyliner, 🚡 transporting guests to the main Skyliner Hub, with destinations to Disney’s Hollywood, Epcot’s International Gateway, and Disney’s Rivera Resort. ✨

Although, POP has plenty of perks, one of its downfalls has to be the on site dining options. Having just a main food court option, this can become a challenge towards the end of the day will crowd levels within the resort itself and everyone trying to grab food from the same location. 🍕But guests can also hop on any of the complimentary transportation and grab food options elsewhere on Disney Property. 🥨

✨ Favorite Summertime Disney Parks Tips! ✨

I have definitely had my fair share of traveling to Walt Disney World during the Summer months and definitely have learned a lot of lessons along the way and want to share some of them with you guys! ☀️

First off, if you are traveling to Florida during the summer months, be prepared for it to rain just about every evening. (You’re in FL during Hurricane season) I know it’s probably not the most ideal weather to have during your magical vacation, but make sure you come prepared with those ponchos and water proof shoes! (Unless you want to buy those souvenir ponchos and umbrellas at the Emporium!)

Next, is probably the most important tip! TAKE BREAKS!! I know you paid alot of money to be there and want to get as much done as possible, but please make sure that you and your family are staying hydrated, wearing plenty of sunscreen, and staying as comfortable as possible in the heat! (This is where those mid-day breaks are important like popping back over to your resort pool areas or even enjoying the water park options)🪸

Finally, speaking of staying hydrated make sure you take advantage of the free water at quick service locations! You don’t even have to order anything! Just simply ask for cups of water! You can also bring water bottles in the parks. This is typically what I do! I have my “Visco” girl style 64 oz water bottle that I carry around! (And you’re probably thinking, Jess is it that really heavy carried around yes it is! So it reminds me to drink water so we’ll get lighter and lighter throughout the day! And honestly, I usually refill it multiple times just because it’s so hot and sticky)

✨ Are You Team Green or Blue Milk? ✨

This is probably the most iconic snack/drink in Galaxy’s Edge!

If you have never tried either one, I would say the best way to describe the texture is that it’s between a smoothie and slushy. The green is a little more citrus-y compared to the blue and you can also make them into Adult versions as well! (At a additional cost)

✨ Happy Birthday Disney’s Hollywood Studios🎞️✨

Studios is such an immersive experience now and I still get goose bumps anytime I visit Batuu! 🪐✨

I may or may not still be a little salty 🧂over the fact that the golden age of MGM Studios with the Great Movie Ride and the Backlot Tour is no longer with us!

But I do appreciate my evenings on Sunset Blvd catching all those Old Hollywood vibes! ✨

P.S. - Please Let Bring Back Voyage of the Little Mermaid! 🪸

✨ Let’s Talk All Things Disney Skyliner! ✨

This is personally one of my favorite ways to get around Walt Disney World property! 🚡

Although the Skyliner does NOT go to every park or resort, it really is such a relaxing way to take in all those amazing views!

How can you access the Disney Skyliner? You can find Stations at:

✨- Disney’s Hollywood Studios
✨- EPCOT (at the international gateway entrance at World Showcase)

✨- Disney’ Art of Animation Resort
✨- Disney’s POP Century Resort
✨- Disney’s Rivera Resort
✨- Disney’s Boardwalk INN
✨- Disney’s Beach Club
✨- Disney’s Yacht Club
✨- Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort

The main hub of the Skyliner is located at Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort, which means guests will have to exit and transfer at this station when coming from Other Skyliner Resorts or Parks. Disney’s Rivera Resort however, does have its own direct access to EPCOT from its station. 🥂

PROS/CONS: When heading to the parking in the mornings, the lines to the Skyliner most likely will be backed up with everyone heading basically to the same place. BUT it really is such a great advantage when staying at a Skyliner Resort as far as having an extra transportation option other than the Buses. And like I mentioned before it doesn’t go everywhere so you will have to still take a bus to the Magic Kingdom or Disney’s Animal Kingdom (or when visiting non-Skyliner Resorts). ✨

✨ Let’s Talk Value Resorts at Walt Disney World ! ✨

Personally, I am such a big fan of the Value Resorts here at Walt Disney World!

What are Value Resort? They are categorized as being the most affordable out of the Walt Disney World Resort category list. Although the room size is small and you have less amenities than the other categories like the Moderates, Deluxe, & Villas.

These Value Resorts Include:
✨- Disney’s Art of Animation (include Family suites & skyliner access)

✨- Disney’s POP Century
(Skyliner access)

✨- Disney’s All-Star Movies

✨- Disney’s All-Star Music
(Includes Family Suites)

✨- Disney’s All-Star Sports

All of these resorts have multiple pool areas, a quick service food court, an arcade, a gift shop, and all the fun extra activities that you can enjoy right at your resort like ‘Movie Under the Stars, pool trivia & games and even unique activities specific to each resort.

As far as transportation goes, they all have access to Disney Transportation such as the Bus system to and from the parks as well as Disney Springs and both Disney Water Parks. Both Art of Animation & POP have access to the Skyliner! 🚡

The average nightly rate for these titter on the $125 - $600+ on average (with the highest rates being for the family suite which can sleep up to 6 guests)

The downside of these resorts is the crowds because they are more affordable they tend to attract more groups which leads to longer bus lines. Speaking of buses, that is the next downside are the lack transportation options. Next we have room size, these rooms are def designed for guests who are planning to hit the parks hard! Finally, is the lack of dining options with just one quick service for the whole resort can be kinda tricky getting food right after a long park day.

I personally love staying at these especially for the affordability factor! ✨

✨ What’s In My Pack Bag! ✨

For the past couple of years I’ve been a big fan of using a F***y pack as a park bag. It’s just so comfortable and honestly the classic F***y packs by are a lot bigger than you think!

Here’s what I pack in mine:
✨- Phone
✨- Sunnies
✨- Cash & cards (cardholder)
✨- A poncho
✨- Chapstick & Sun stick
✨- Hair clip
✨- A couple of Bandaids
✨- Magic Band & AP
✨- Portable charger

BONUS: I have been able to fit a bottle of water and sometimes snacks as well! ✨

I’ve been really craving a good trip to Disneyland!…and one of these raspberry macarons! ✨
Honestly, my last trip to Disneyland last year, I ate one of these macarons every morning for breakfast!
Being a east coast girly I made sure to stop by ‘les halles boulangerie-patisserie’ tucked away in the back corner of the France pavilion at Epcot. And grabbing a “raspberry lime macaron”.
It’s honestly a very close dupe to the Disneyland one without its being Mickey shaped!
Hands-down one of my favorite snacks at Epcot! What’s your favorite park snack? ⤵️

Long Time No See! … ✨
Okay Okayy… I know it’s been awhile.. well a few months! But honestly I just needed a little break from posting! ☀️
While on the break, I kinda evaluated what I wanted my content to look like moving forward and I really want to provide more valuable content for you guys!

In 1955, Frito-Lay snack company, had a Mexican-Style restaurant “Casa de Fritos”, now known as “Rancho Del Zocalo”. Who used tortillas from Alex foods,a local tortilla factory.
One day, a rep from Alex Foods noticed how any stale tortillas were being trashed.
So he decided to cut and fry them up and basically the rest is history!

✨ Moderate Resorts ✨
At Walt Disney World!
These are going to be your mid-range Resorts with moderate pricing and resort amenities! They are going to be slightly closer to either the Parks or Disney Springs, with a little bit bigger rooms compared to the Value Resorts and pool areas featuring waterslides! Most are going to feature fitness centers, lounge options, as well as you’re also going to have more dining options as far as tableservice goes compared to Value resorts. 🍹
CONS for these Resorts is (currently) most of the rooms haven’t been updated in a while compared to some of the Value in Deluxe Resort rooms. Most of the transportation to the parks is via bus. And these are going to be some of the largest resort properties do you may have to take an internal bus system or figure out your resort priorities in the location that you need to stay on property (such as is transportation more important to you than being close to the lobby or is being either pull more important than being close to dining options)
These Resorts are:
✨-Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort (main Skyliner hub) 🚡🚍
✨-Disney’s Coronado Springs (featuring the Gran Destino tower) 🚍
✨-Disney’s Port Orleans Riverside (featuring princess themed rooms and ferry to Disney Springs) 🚍⛴
✨-Disney’s Port Orleans French Quarter (ferry to Disney Springs) 🚍⛴
✨- Cabins at Disney’s Fort Wilderness (this is gonna be the closest to Magic Kingdom and have ferry transportation to there) 🚍⛴
These resorts are great if you’re planning on taking a Resort day throughout your stay because of the pool areas and more dining options on site. Does the mean of these resorts aren’t gonna be as over the top as the Value Resorts. The higher end as far as feel goes to the New Gran Destino tower at Disney’s Coronado Springs (you definitely get a Deluxe Resort feel from these rooms without the Deluxe resort price tag, they even have Club Level options) 🍾
If You feel like a Walt Disney World Moderate Resort is right for you and your family!
