Thank you everyone for your submissions so far! We are still accepting environmentally themed art and writing for publication in our first edition, to be published this October. If you have any work you'd like to submit, please email it to [email protected] by September 10th.

Looking for something to inspire you? Here's a prompt: write a poem or piece of flash fiction, or create a piece of art, inspired by a formative experience you had as a child in nature. Maybe it was the first time you caught a firefly in your hands, or played in the snow, or swam in the ocean. Sometimes that childhood sense of joy and wonder at the natural world is what we need to remember where we came from.

Hello all,

Biophilia Magazine has extended our submission deadline to September 10th, and intend to publish our first edition this October! We're looking for environmentally themed creative works of any kind.

We are also hoping to have a pop up art gallery and events space, called The Nest, in Dumfries Scotland for the month of October, and are looking for physical pieces to display in that space. If you're based out of Scotland or England, and looking to display your environmental art, please email me at [email protected].

I look forward to hearing from you!
