4. Ep 10: Understanding the state of Africa with Trevor Lwere - often, when we move abroad, we do so in the hopes of learning something abroad and bringing it back to the continent. Trevor speaks about how we should first understand where we stand as a continent before attempting to bring back techniques/methods to “improve” the state of the continent.
3. Ep 12: Let’s talk Mental Health with Tara (Bogatsu) Hilton - Tara explains how moving and studying abroad can have an impact on our mental health. A good takeaway from this episode is that struggling with mental health while abroad is normal; you aren’t weak for struggling.
