Playology is seeking a chief marketing officer with experience in the gaming, television, and/or hospitality (restaurant and bar) industries.

The candidate will oversee the company's marketing and branding strategy.

Qualifications:

•Must have at least ten years experience overseeing worldwide marketing, brand development, and/or print & advertising (P&A) at a media firm, restaurant group, or gaming studio
•Must handle a team of advertisers, marketers, deal makers inside & outside of our company and its units
•Must develop and maintain strong relationships with inside and outside brand licensors, brand ambassadors, brand marketing specialists, and others

Responsibilities:

•Must oversee all marketing & advertising operations of the company
•Must lead a team of marketing heads in each division of the company.
•Must manage and train managers, coordinators, assistants and interns.
•Must have strong written and oral communication skills.
•Must have strong ability to show initiative and multi-task in a fast paced, high-volume environment.
•Must demonstrate interpersonal communication and diplomatic skills, including the ability to work successfully within a collaborative team environment.
•Must have strong organizational skills
•Must have an understanding and passion for cosplay, gaming, and hospitality.
•Must have computer skills (MS WORD, Publisher, Excel)
•Must have the ability to be a team leader as well as a team player.

College degree is not mandatory, but it is recommended (MA or MS degree in entertainment business management, business marketing, and/or print advertising is preferred).
