For those that love a good deal, these discount apps can help you save money if you eat out this Ramadan. Most of the offers are Buy one Get one Free and some are discounts on the total bill.

The membership to the the ENTERTAINER - Qatar costs QR 275 and has over 2500 buy one get one free offers that you can avail at restaurants, spas, salons and more. It is valid till 30th December, so you can use it throughout the year if you get yours now.

The membership for Urban Point is free if you're an Ooredoo Qatar post paid customer. If not, the membership costs QR 150 and is valid for a year. They have buy one get one free offers and discount offers on restaurants, spas, retails outlets and more.

This is one of the most underrated restaurants and Seafood Night we’ve been to. The food at Ika has never disappointed.

If you love sushi, ceviche and all things good, this one is for you. The menu consists of 5 cold starters, 2 hot starters and 2 mains. The portions are generous and is all UNLIMITED!!

You can keep reordering whatever you like from the Seafood Night menu. 2 rounds of nigiri, sushi and the whole menu later, we left happy and satisfied.

This place has been a long time favorite! We love everything about from the cookies to the brownies to the ice cream!

Their ice creams are dairy free (they use a cashew base) and sweetened with coconut sugar. We had the Hazelnut one and trust us when we say it’s a generous portion.

Last week we were invited to try out The Surry and The Oat House at Abesq Doha

THE SURRY

A new gastropub with a modern Australasian vibe. The perfect place for post office drinks or to hang out with friends. They have a Happy Hour daily from 5 PM to 8 PM. The presentation was on point and definitely instagram worthy. The Happy Hour menu in the pictures below 👇

THE OAT HOUSE

Their all day dining restaurant. A transparent and
considered approach to nutrition and balance, with dairy-free and vegan options. We tried their Business lunch, priced at QR 90 per person for a three course meal with a drink, it’s very reasonable. The food was fresh and portions pretty decent for the price. We’re looking forward to trying their breakfast, which is also priced quite reasonably (menu in the pictures below 👇)

We recently tried out the new Plant based restaurant in town, XYST by Matthew Kenney and we enjoyed every bit of it!

We love our meats and seafood but this was a pleasant change and we honestly didn’t miss it much. Every dish was packed with flavour. The food was fresh and that was evident in the taste.

If you’re on a plant based diet or looking to try a new place, we would definitely recommend them (even if you’re not plant based or vegan).

To celebrate the 4th of July, Hunters at Westin are serving a 5 course set menu from 4th July to 8th July. We had the opportunity to try it out earlier tonight and we thoroughly enjoyed it.

The Pan seared Foie Gras amuse bouche just melts in your mouth and paired with pomegranate and mandarin, it was a perfect pairing. The sweetness of the Butternut Squash soup with the creaminess of the cheese in it was just perfect and even though we didn’t want to fill up on soup, we ended up finishing it all up. By the time we reached the Crab Cake roll and BBQ Beef Brisket slider we were almost stuffed.

Then came the mains, we chose the USDA Prime Ribeye and the Black Cod, both were cooked to perfection and had the perfect accompaniments to go along.

Ended the night with some Baked Alaska and Apple Pie. By the end of the meal we were so full, we should’ve probably booked a room at the hotel to pass out in 😂

Yesterday we tried the Steak and Sushi night at Chotto Matte Doha and we left happy and content!

The offering includes 8 different sushi, including some divine Otoro, Hamachi and some crispy sushi too. The Australian Wagyu was cooked just the way we like it (medium doneness), the anticucho butter just added to the flavour. They also have Edamame, fried Green beans and some smoked purple mash along with the Steak and Sushi.

This is definitely one to add to your list for those that love their Steak and Sushi.

If you’re looking for a Happy Hour, they also have Chotto Hour from 5 PM to 7 PM for QR 120 which includes a platter and two drinks.

They also offer different sharing menus for those that like to have a little bit of everything, including a vegetarian set menu.

It's beginning to look alot like Christmas🎄🎄
Still haven't had "refined sugar" (3 months and going strong). 7th December is going to be my first cheat day (the perfect day for some cake). Going to be a year older, wiser and will hopefully be the year I make smarter food choices and exercise my way to a healthier, happier me🎊🎉💪🍎
