Factum Foundation

Factum Arte is working with the Redstone Press to produce a series of prints from photographs by 29 blind photographers, including a series of 10 tactile interpretations of these works. ´The Blind Photographer´ challenges the primacy of visual reaction in those who normally see only with their eyes, with the tactile prints allowing blind and partially sighted people to read the images - thus enabling a different sensory understanding for each and every individual who come across these works.

The show will take place from the 4th July to 25th September and will be displayed in the Grand Salon at the Galerie Huit in Arles, as part of the renowned French photographic art fair, Les Rencontres d'Arles.
